Get the flavour
Whether you’re a culture vulture or a fun and sun-seeker, Greece has it all. It offers up everything from sandy beaches and neon-lit nightclubs to medieval citadels and ancient ruins. And that’s before we get into quaint mountain villages and seafront tavernas.
Island paradise
Crete is the biggest of the Greek islands, and home to some of the most famous historic attractions outside of Athens. Over in Corfu you’ll find a lush, green paradise, while Rhodes comes up trumps in the beach stakes. Kefalonia prides itself on its picture-perfect scenery, meanwhile Zante and Kos are big on beaches and 24-hour party scenes.
Beautiful beaches
Practically every Greek island is blessed with more than its fair share of beach. Amble along the coastlines and you’ll find everything from rocky coves and hidden caves to bar-lined promenades and stretches of golden sand as far as the eye can see.
