Stretch out on the sand

Venture 15 minutes up the coast to discover charming Skiathos Town, the island’s chief destination. Bus or water taxi? The choice is yours from Achladies. Once you’ve arrived, seek out the quaint Old Town and explore its tangle of cobbled streets. Whitewashed buildings embellished with doors and shutters painted in bright blue hues charm, as does the vivid bougainvillea draped from balconies.
