If you’d prefer to try ouzo, make a beeline for Canava Santorini, a distillery in the village creating the spirit using a traditional slow process. 

Venture to Fira

From Mesaria, it takes less than ten minutes to reach Fira, Santorini’s iconic capital. More jaw-dropping caldera views await from the bounty of oh-so chic restaurants and bars along its edge. You can also follow a caldera-side path that takes you on a showstopping 9km walk through Firostefani and Imerovigli, all the way to breathtaking Oia.
