Lots of legends
If myths, legends and history are all your bag, then visit Kyllini. Wander Chlemoutsi Castle and marvel at this intimidating structure. Then, how about a day trip to the birthplace of the Olympic Games? Also known as Zeus’ shrine, the ruins of Ancient Olympia offer a glimpse into this glorious period.
Beaches aplenty
Greece is famous for its beaches and Kyllini doesn’t disappoint. South of the harbour, you’ll find kilometres of soft sand stretched out before you. Fondly dubbed ‘Golden Beach’, it’s the ideal place for some sun. A little further south is gorgeous Loutra Killinis Beach, a picturesque spot for relaxation.
Relax in nature
Make the short journey to Loutra Killinis to unearth rejuvenating thermal springs, where you can soak away all your troubles in the warm waters that were once used by the Ancient Greeks. There’s now a hydrotherapy centre where you can kick back, unwind and really get into holiday mode.
