Top of the rock
Skaros Rock is one of the most famed landmarks on the island – one look and you’ll see why. This unique volcanic rock formation offers incredible views of the serene cerulean waters below. A medieval village was once placed upon the peninsula, but today only time-worn ruins remain.
Close to the capital
Imerovigli sits just 2km away from the island’s capital, Fira. It’s an incredible place with lots of attractions and authentic restaurants. Explore the Museum of Prehistoric Thira and admire its Neolithic artefacts, then enjoy tomatokeftedes (Santorini tomato fritters) in a local taverna.
