Pelican Alvor

Stayed 9 nights in June 2024. Really enjoyed our stay. Hotel very clean and staff very attentive. Could not fault it. A short walk to seafront, bars and restaurants.

The perfect hotel for us. Quiet location supermarket close by short walk into village. Very nice room very clean , comfy bed and sofa. ,great oven . Loads of storage Hubby was very impressed with the layout of the room very spacious. We had a road side room and found it quiet . The best asset of this hotel is the staff. They were all friendly and helpful and looked very happy in their work..

We had an amazing family holiday at the pelican Alvor in July, where the hotel facilities didn’t disappoint. The staff could not be more attentive or helpful and Susanna leads a great team. Wouk not hesitate to recommend and will hopefully be back some day again.

As I have stayed at Luna Alvor village a few times before I knew what to expect.The hotel is great and the staff are superb.Even the one who left. Claudia we miss you.The rooms are spacious and well maintained and the breakfast is lovely.Town is a short walk away 5-10 mins depending on how you walk or what you've drunk.The beach is probably double that but manageable.

This was a last minute change by Jet2 as our original choice was having H&S issues.But what a change, we could not fault this hotel.Excellent accommodation, service and food.Will definitely be going back

stayed in this hotel sept 2018 for 14 nights was really pleased staff helpful and polite rooms very clean and well equiped with everything you need very modern well spaced rooms breakfast average very quiet at night not to far from town about 20 min walk to beach will defo recommend and defo will return cant wait till next year when we will be back .

Perfect accommodation. Large well equipped, spotlessly clean rooms. Excellent breakfast, very courteous, friendly staff. In a residential location which was extremely quiet as was the hotel so it made for an excellent nights sleep

Hotel is spotless, staff are so friendly. Great location. 20 min walk to the beach, 10 min walk to bars and restaurants. Supermarket a 5 min walk. Only problem not enough sun beds round the pool. Would definitely go back!!

Extremely comfortable and modern accommodation with efficient, friendly staff from reception to cleaning. Breakfast choices vast and pleasant restaurant with a good price structure. grounds lovely - a pleasurable place to stay.

Great hotel, Clean and in good decorative condition. Good breakfasts. rooms spacious with kitchen facilities and good sized fridge with small freezer compartment. Good location. Only issue there was not enough sunbeds and sunshades. Guests were out grabbing sunbeds at 7.30 in the morning. After that it was a stampede to get one with an umbrella. Policy said not to reserve beds but not followed up. Poolside, along with sunbeds and sunshades in need of refurbishment and upgrading.

We visited the Luna Alvor for our first holiday in Portugal so didn't know what to expect at all. What we found was a brilliant hotel with excellent friendly staff, immaculately clean throughout the whole complex and in an ideal location for our family. You are just far enough away from all the bars to not hear anything later at night but well within walking distance for an earlier trip to sample brilliant restaurants throughout Alvor itself. Already booked to head back there again!

Quieter location of Alvor. Lovely spacious comfortable room with pool view. Clean towels provided every day. Excellent breakfast with the best coffee ever. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. Just one negative people putting towels on beds by pool and then disappearing for hours and causing problems for staff when they remove towels. Stop being so selfish!! and stop having a go at the staff who are only trying to look after all and not the selfish few

The staff here are absolutely fantastic. Breakfast was either continental or full English or both together!! Cocktails to die for. Massage by the pool wonderful. Only down side is the neighbourhood dogs who seem to live outside all the time and bark and howl day and night so take earplugs. Noise level shut out if you close windows and use air con. Overall brilliant
