The area: Welcome to a fascinating course set in the Tenerife foothills. This Pepe Gancedo-designed gem is interestingly laid out with the front nine holes being an uphill and downhill mix, and the back nine generally going with the contours of the hillside. As for the views, it’s a postcard of lush greenery.
Holes: Unusually, the two hardest holes here are par 3s! The 187-yard 7th is a real card-wrecker, with the tee shot requiring a carry all the way to the green.

The area: Located in a spectacular spot overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, it’ll almost look like you’re teeing off into the sea! With its unique Seve Ballesteros design, this course is part of the Melia Hacienda Del Conde Resort in the north of Tenerife.
Holes: The course consists of 6 par 3s, 6 par 4s and 6 par 5s. However, the holes closest to the ocean are the most impressive – the 10th even has a green perched just above the crashing waves!

The area: The golf course was created by Dave Thomas, designer of Ryder Cup and European Tour venues, and is widely regarded as one of his greatest achievements in his 50 years of experience developing professional courses. The course contains over 300 species of subtropical plant life, including over 20,000 palm trees.
Holes: Almost all of the holes of the course have spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and the island of La Gomera.

The area: Consisting of three nine-hole loops, this extensive golf resort offers a fantastic contrast between black volcanic-sand bunkers and lush greens and fairways. You’ll find a few water challenges as well, so it’s the ideal blend of scenic and sporty. There are even tennis courts if you fancy a change of pace afterwards.
Holes: The 457-yard par 4 third on the north nine is a tough test. The narrow fairway is lined by some pesky black-sand bunkers.
