Watersports galore
Cap Salou’s beaches are buzzing with activity, from tranquil sailing to high-adrenaline water skiing. There are two waterparks nearby to discover as well – the Aqualeon park, which combines splashdowns with safaris, and Aquopolis, where you can ride adrenaline-fuelled slides. It’s a winner for water babies.
Traditional Spain on your doorstep
Cap Salou has everything you need for good times and a bit of culture, but if you’re willing to travel then Reus, Tarragona, Montserrat and Barcelona are all just a two-hour drive away. The surrounding area has bags of history too, with ancient Roman remains and huge monasteries tucked into the mountains.
