this was the first christmas break for me and the family i was good choice the hotel was clean and tidy very helpful staff who did a lot for the children on christmas day including a santa parade and meet and greet santa with a little gift for each one the food in the restaurant was very good with a wide choice on offer

Really lovely hotel ,rooms are fabulous ,food was great and the a la carte restaurant was amazing ,plenty of room around the pool ,would definitely go back

Try to get the upgrade to my favorite club . Well recommended. Plenty of good food may needed heated from time to time when restaurant is busy all bar staff go over and above to be helpful cannot wait to go back august and December . Special mention to Luis from anamations keeps everyone throughly happy .😃

Alua Suites is a lovely hotel in a reasonable resort. We chose this hotel for its room layout. The rooms and gardens are very good. The Staff were great, as was the food. We used the plaza for most meals but on 3 of our 10 nights we used the pool bar which puts on an Italian and Mexican menu every night and it was super. I usually expect the entertainment in All Inclusive resorts to be average but it was quite good too. A stroll into the town centre takes around 15 minutes along the beach, there are some pretty beaches along the way. We were able to watch football in the Corner House and a couple of our party ate a nice meal in the Waikiki Beach. There are plenty of shops on the high street if that’s your thing! There are plenty of pools to choose from and we usually managed to find sun beds by the active pool. You get a token each on arrival, this is to be exchanged for a plastic glass for your all inclusive drinks, I was sceptical about this initiative initially, however it really works as the pool area and grounds are not covered in discarded drinks like other AI resorts. The only annoyance for us was the check out process, we were unable to get a late check out in either of our rooms and then had to pay to use a shower room. This shower room didn’t have serviceable air conditioning so we ended up waiting to be collected for departure in a sweaty mess, the person on reception didn’t seemed to interested or bothered when my partner politely pointed this out. For this reason alone we probably won’t return to what was a lovely hotel.

Great family hotel, all communal areas spotlessly clean, all staff very friendly & helpfull, plenty of choice of swimming pools, although we stuck to the activity one where the pool was slightly heated, close to bar & lunchtime eatery, there was an excellent choice of foods at lunch there was a barbecue twice a week, there was a lifeguard on each pool, our accommodation had everything we needed, we travelled as a family of 4, plenty of space & facilities, the grounds was like a small village with well tended gardens, overall this was an excellent family hotel with a great location, would definitely revisit.

This was the first time we have stayed at an all inclusive hotel. The cost was just under £7000 including flights for seven nights for two adults and two teenagers in a family room on the basic package. In hind sight I don't think this was good value for money and over all we didn't really enjoy the experience and wouldn't want to return. The hotel was clean (although there was a dreadful blocked sewer stink throughout the complex) and the staff were very friendly but the overall experience has put us off trying this sort of holiday again. Our family room was very cramped for four people. The food was lukewarm, basic and bland. We ended up walking into town for dinner on three of the nights. The quality of the drinks wasn't great either especially spirits (cheap and watery) Some of the cocktails you could charge to your room were nice but an inclusive strawberry daiquiri at the pool consisted of a shot of unbranded Rum filled up with strawberry slushy from the kids slushy machine. The entertainment was a bit Butlins red coats for us. Getting seats around the Pool was a bit of a scrum and we gave up trying to get anywhere near the main pool area after the first day. Lovely beach 30 min walk away and nice shops and restaurants in the town but we personally wouldn't want to stay at this hotel again.

I have been to this hotel five times before and they have made some changes. The layout has changed in the main restaurant which leads to a single long queue and the food is not good at all (lots of complaints from other guests). We hired an iron and ironing board and took it to our room. The ironing board fell to pieces the first time we tried to use it. I rang reception and spoke to one of the reception staff who told me we I would need to return it and collect another one as they did not do room service. She was offhand and almost rude, and when I returned it I asked to see the manager. I was told I could see the manager the following day and she was very courteous and brought the board over herself, she noted that this board was also in very poor repair, apologised and said she would have to order some new ones. We had booked an "adults only" suite with its own pool area. ....at 8.00am each morning hardly a subbed to be had. Sorry Alua Suites you need to get your act together.

I can honsetly say from the bottom of my heart that this was the best family holiday i have been on resort was fabulous hotel was super clean and totally family focused food was great i was able to relax for the first time in about 8 years the kid club staff treated my child like there own we have been back now for over a month and my kids are still talking about it. thank you jet 2 you had everything is place and where super organised even down to the on resort check out you guys where so organised our flight took off early got there early and even departed early never had service like it before amazing

Had a great time here in August 2019. Room was clean and plenty of space/facilities. The entertainment during the day around the pool was great, not pushy but plenty to join in with if you wanted to. The only downside to the holiday was the repetitive nature of the food. As a vegan there was very little on offer other than salad and fruit, no protein sources at all. Overall though, a pleasant stay in a friendly, well run hotel.

The hotel, staff and facilities were excellent. Eddy and Douglas who entertained the teen club were fabulous. The choices of food were endless. Don’t leave without trying the Asian restaurant and give Zumba a go with Julia !
