Arena Beach

Booked a last minute break owing to Covid. 40 minutes from the airport by Jet2 coach transfer. Check in was straight forward, found apartment easily enough and it was available straight away. Plenty of food choices at meal times. Self service drink stations kept the queues down at the bars. Pool towels available from reception for a deposit - be warned, towels will be removed from sun beds if left unattended for more than 10 minutes. Great stay!

I was very apprehensive after reading the reviews on here. The hotel was lovely, food was normal all inclusive standard could always find something to eat, staff veey helpful and friendly. The bad would not like to be there at height of season no way the restaurant and bars would be large enough for that amount of guests. The sunbeds were reserved early in the morning and the mattresses were taken and stored in rooms this mainly by the british also the only all inclusive we have stayed in were people were extremely drunk at all times of the day and night again the British. On whole the hotel and staff were great it was the guests behavior that let it down

Hotel was ok nothing to shout about to be honest , food choices were poor , service at the bar was slow . All staff were friendly and polite . The entertainment room for the evening was ridiculously tiny , if you didn't get in early you would be standing all night . The acts were also shocking

Lovely holiday hotel. Food good loads of choice for breakfast. Lunch and dinner always something to eat. Rooms were very clean cooker and fridge freezer in rooms. Have to hire hairdryer and pay for air-conditioning and tv remote. We were in upper floor accommodation which would recommend. New sunbed around big pool.

The hotel is spotless with really friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a good size and are well equipped. Dining room is a good size with lots of choices for lunch breakfast and dinner. I especially enjoyed the seafood which was available every day. It was nice that there was food being freshly cooked in the dining room every mealtime. The only minor issues we had were that the bar, which doubled as the entertainment area, was very small for the size of hotel. It would have been nice to have been able to use the bath or sinks but none of them had plugs. Overall the hotel was very good and we would be happy to go back.

the hotel is about 45 minutes from the airport (depending on traffic and drop offs). On arrival the reception staff are welcoming. The 2 storey apartments are arranged around both pools and are clean and spacious. The bar service is good with plenty of local brands on offer. The food is excellent and hot. The entertainment is quite reasonable. The staff in the bar and dining room are fantastic, they are so friendly and smiley. On two days, the weather was a little bit changeable so they didn`t open the pool bar but they opened the lobby bar upstairs instead and we could sit out on the verandah which was lovely. I think this option should be there anyway. Hernan and Estaban stood out for us - they couldn`t do enough.

The rooms were standard you had to pay extra if you wanted a hairdryer tv remote and air conditioning remote. The food was basic the breakfast was great but lunch and dinner were poor the meat was always tough. The staff were lovely and friendly and always greeted us with smile the only down side was we miss placed our key and went to get the spare one only to be told there is no spare key and nothing they could do in the end they called maintenance guy as I said I have a 6 month that needed feeding! The drinks were free up until 11pm anything after you had to pay! The syrup for soft drinks constantly running out as well as the coffee staff weren’t getting on top of it. The hotel is rated as 3 star but it’s more of a self catering holiday. Hotel location is about half hour walk to the beach which is about 1.5 miles night entertainment was poor.

The hotel is spotlessly clean. Staff will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy.Entertainment is hit & miss, but the animation staff put their all into ensuring everyone has a good time. Location is a good walk from the main areas, but the Campinara shopping complex with craft market is round the corner. There is also a small beach next to the Waikiki bar not too much of a walk away.The sand dunes are spectacular and the beach is so clean. This was our second visit to this hotel, and even though it rained for 3 days the first time, we liked it so much we decided to return. we will be returning.

Lovely hotel, our room was by the children's pool so not too noisy. The apartment was very well equipped, even had a washing machine! We went all inclusive but self catering would be a good option with such a great apartment. The balcony is very small, only room for 2 of us, luckily the teenager stayed in his room! Food very good, I can't understand anyone moaning about it. Three decent meals with loads of choice. The drinks were OK, typical all inclusive low quality booze, but the beer and wine were OK. Location good - far enough out of town to be peaceful, not too far to walk to the shopping centre or the main town. Good mix of nationalities - not full of boozed up Brits which was good. Staff polite and friendly. Entertain was pretty ropey but only to be expected and not too bad. You can wait for drinks in the evening because they close the pool bar for some reason, but if you're going on holiday to get boozed up, you should go elsewhere. This isn't for 24 hour party people. Overall had a good relaxing time and glad I stayed here.

Good food and drink. Excellent pool which was never crowded even during August. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Aircon wasn't working in one of our rooms, so we got the room changed after a bit of haggling. The Acua water park was included in our package deal. It was a bit run down, but still worth visiting.
