Marti La Perla

This hotel is very well situated, some staff very friendly. The food the 1st week was not the best, very little meat and no choice was very disappointed, the 2nd week what a difference complete turnaround choice was superb, don't know if because of end of Ramadan & lots of Turkish guests but a big difference. Lack of parasols around the pool was very poor especially in that heat. As for the pool could be better, it is the same depth the whole pool which is not good for everyone especially the none swimmers but who still like to go in the pool to cool off, and the steps into the pool are not very good only ladder steps so if people have difficulty it is a real struggle to enter & exit the pool as some guests are older couples,a few guests stayed there year after year and said they have seen huge changes and not for the good, used to be a free mini bar in rooms now all you get is 2 bottles of water and nothing else. International drinks served at the bar, but nowhere in the description did it say at an extra charge, which was over £5 each drink. Room cleaning was really slow some days, out of room from 9.30 each morning & on returning to room at around 5.30 to have a nice shower and to get ready for the evening after a day in the sun, only to find the room still not serviced I suppose due to the lack of housekeeping staff. The rooms themselves were very good comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms with excellent showers apart from the overflowing shower trays which proceeded to go all over the floor making them very wet and slippy which there was a notice warning you of this, and as for the entertainment, what entertainment!!! Heard there used to be 8 entertainment team now 3, one member of the team was very friendly and made the effort to mix with the quests all day, as for the other 2 very little was seen of them, only entertainment was music quiz or picture quiz which was sometimes a little biased in the marking system once there was a singer on. The hotel itself was a lovely hotel, but if I would return to this one is to be debated, as there seem to be much better adult only ones in the resort with better facilities ie mini bars, staff & entertainment, especially for the price we paid, which was disappointing and which went down in price by a considerable sum only 3 days after booking this holiday, which was booked last minute. I love Icmeler and have been a number of times so will not stop me returning, but too this hotel not sure.

We arrived during the early hours, the reception staff just gave us a key and never discussed any of the amenities. the room was like a sauna and the air con did not work. after 3 discussions with hotel staff,this was resolved but took 3 days. The quality of the food was very poor and the evening entertainment was nothing or a very poor quiz by the entertainment team. The entertainment team only talked to the young girls or boys and never tried to get anyone else involved.
