Icmeler
Icmeler may be lively, but it’s got an old village within it and nature close by. Take a stroll up from the coast along the canal, past charming bars and small boats moored by beautiful gardens. Get your haggling hat on around the markets, too.
Dotted with gorgeous hills of pine, olive and cypress trees, Icmeler is a real scenic setting. It’s a little quieter than its lively neighbour Marmaris, but there’s still a buzzy feel to the resort. The sweeping bay’s surrounded by cliffsides brushed with dense forests, and you’ll find plenty of pretty parasols lined up on the inviting soft sands.
Local life
There’s a typically Turkish glow to this resort. Embrace the local customs and peruse the markets, or simply sit down to tasty traditional cuisine done well. If you fancy getting your hands a bit dirtier – or rather your boots – then hike up into the mountains and stare out at staggering views.

We visited in May 2024. There were 2 couples, all of us are retired aged between 69 and 76. The first thing I must say is the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food again was excellent. However the unevenness of the paved areas and number of steps/stairs did give us some problems. So I think the only comment I would like to make is perhaps point this out much more clearly.

Great place
05 Oct 2022
The hotel was excellent, the staff were all very helpful and friendly, rooms were very clean and done each day. We had a belcony with a fantastic view of mountains and sea. The food was excellent and a variety of choices. The Italian restaurant was great. A lovely coffee and patisserie area. High standard of entertainment.Plenty of sun beds choice by the pool or on the beach, very clear sea water. There are a lot of stairs but also lifts. There is one nasty slope which leads from the hotel to the beach area. The bar is open 24.7. There are a lot of water sports for those who likes them. You can get water taxi,s to the two nearest towns. A man by the place you get your towels for the beach, sells boat trips which are cheaper than the reps in the hotel pilchard up at 10 return at 6 stops in several coves for swimming and includes a meal £13 and also a moon light cruise on Sundays £5.

Beautiful view. The big down side was that there is no WiFi in the rooms. You could only access the internet in the certain places like the receptions and it was not the fastest.
The hotel need modernising. Dated furniture and actually they needed deep cleaning. No late room checkout available.
But the staff working there where nice and helpful.
Wouldn’t go there again and wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

The best week!
07 Sep 2022
We booked this about 6wks before we went! We arrived in the early hours and was greeted by a man at check in. He was probably the only staff member who wasn’t very helpful. He spoke so quietly that we couldn’t hear a word he was saying no matter how many times we asked him to speak up. So technically we had absolutely no idea about anything and we were so tired we gave up and just asked to be shown to our room. We were escorted via the golf buggy to our room and the bell boy was very kind and helpful. The room is basic but clean! Beds were comfortable, air con good, bathroom was lovely, mini fridge was stocked with drinks not just water but this was only on arrival, the rest of the time we had to bring our own waters back which wasn’t a problem at all. Maid cleaned well every day and we had fresh towels daily. Food we felt was of a very good quality. We skipped breakfast most days as my youngest was giving us some great lay ins! But we all preferred the patisserie as we’re not massive breakfast people. We had lunch at the pine bar most days and loved it! The burgers! So good! We are at the Chinese and Turkish a la cartes. The Chinese was fab! But the Turkish, it was more the service. We were literally sat down, plates out in front of us. Not showed a menu or explained what we were getting, the large table next to us seemed have been giving all the attention and we weren’t ignored. They were giving menu’s and the staff were very attentive towards them. This is my only complaint of the holiday. I didn’t dwell on it, the food was nice enough. Our Chinese meal was the opposite, the staff couldn’t do enough for us and the kids. The shows were great. Highlights of our holidays were the neon party, pool party & there was a band, 2 men & 1 woman! They were amazing! Both my kids had a ball! The ice creams (not the free ones) were divine! My only complaints are - the ice creams should be free all day. The water slide should be open all day too. And Wi-Fi should be better. But those things didn’t spoil our stay!
Oh - staff are amazing!!! And the views/grounds are stunning!

Amazing holiday.
10 May 2022
We had an amazing stay at this hotel with our 3 month old and our 3.5 year old. The staff were fantastic, particularly our waiter Memet he went above and beyond to help us out remembered the children’s names & what we liked to drink. Also Akif the rollerskating waiter by the pool was such a hard worker & was so friendly. We had an incident where my son fell in the pool and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and looked after us all so well, especially the guest services manager Memet, he stayed with us the entire time with the doctor to have my son checked over, got us to hospital & back so quickly and even made sure we had lunch as we missed the restaurant timings. Luckily our son was fine but please do keep life jackets/ arm bands on your little ones by the pool, he only had his off for a matter of minutes so it can happen so quickly.
The food was lovely & plenty of fresh fruits/ salads/ veg meat and fish dishes & lots of choice for us all. The evening entertainment was fantastic & we really enjoyed the shows, for us personally it went on a little late as we had a very young baby & 3 year old and we found it too loud when we went to the bed as it was on until midnight, so if you like to go to bed a bit earlier like us I’d take earplugs or white noise or stay further back in the hotel. Only other suggestion is to ask to stay in the main hotel with the elevators rather than garden rooms if you have a baby in a pram / buggy like us as there were a lot of steps to our room & other areas, but the staff were always willing to help us with the pram so wasn’t a huge problem if I return I’d just go for a room with a lift.
The water at the beach was crystal clear, and the pools were lovely & clean and there was plenty to do with children. There was a bakery where you could choose lots of yummy baked cakes and pastry’s in between lunch and dinner. I’d highly recommend this hotel for a family holiday, we had a lovely time. The boat trip was great too, I’d recommend going on the smaller boat if you have young children as the bigger ones tend to be more party boats for adults.
Thank you to all the staff for making our first family holiday one to remember.

Great Hotel
10 May 2022
This was our first trip to Turkey and it was a Great hotel in a fantastic location! The staff go above and beyond without being pushy. Huge selection of food if you are willing to try different things and with the all inclusive option including the cafe and pastries you won’t go Hungry!
If you are looking for a new, modern hotel - this is not it. The hotel is like a old armchair warm, cosy and comfortable with a few nicks and scrapes in the decor. Ideal place to get away and relax and feel comfortable in - it’s not full of glitz and modern decor where you feel you can’t unwind.
Lots of different areas within the hotel and grounds so there is always somewhere to hide away and relax if you don’t feel like being in a crowd.
There is evening entertainment which can be a bit noisy if you are in a room close to the amphitheater- I would recommend asking for a sea view room on the furthest side of the main hotel otherwise it is a bit hard to sleep with loud music.
The hotel is close to Icemeler and Marmaris with the option of walking, (it’s a long walk to Marmaris - we didn’t attempt it but did stroll to Icemeler) water taxies right in-front of the hotel or a taxi at the hotel entrance. Highly recommend taking a water taxi - it was 120 lira for 2 people one way to Marmaris with lovely views.
The choice of shopping, restaurants and bars is endless between the 2 towns and if you are wanting to go a bit further Turunc is also a lovely little village to go and explore - 25/30min via taxi and a bit longer if you go by water taxi.
We came away from our holiday very relaxed and it was an overall amazing experience. Thank you to all the staff at the hotel for all that you do - you really made us feel so welcome! No question or request was met with poor attitude or that it was a bother to do. We will definitely be back next year!

One of the Best hotels
10 May 2022
FANTASTIC!!! This is one the best hotels we stayed in. The hotel located in a nice place with easy access to Marmaris or Icmeler towns. You could walk ,or cycle along the promenade to either location. The hotel its self is clean and beautiful. It offers a beach front with decking, various size pools and green space with lots of tress in its large compound. It has multiple bars and restaurants, ice-cream and coffee shops within the hotel. you could eat and drink all day. Me and my family enjoyed the food, and the staff were wonderful. The bedroom is good size and all our bed were very comfortable. We all slept well every night. Generally we had a wonderful holiday and our teenage daughter loved it.

Great location
27 May 2019
What can i say, overall a good holiday!Hotel nice and clean, great location and i am happy i paid for a sea view because you cannot miss waking up on those mountain/sea views!Food was great but too repetitive, but we knew as an all inclusive will have this problem!A la carte restaurant you need to pay separately and menus don't look great! For example you can't put pizza on an a la carte restaurant, even if italian,we know is not authentic 😉!Fish restaurant didn't had a good sea food plater in the menu, which i would've liked and i had to go out into town to have one!Entertainment was poor, the only good-ish one was Cuban nightEven Turkish night was disappointing. We were in other places in Turkey and entertainment was much better,so my advice is to invest in this!I wanted to play backgammon while sitting near the pool and they were asking 50 Turkish lira..witch i thought was too much,i wasn't buying them! You need to be up early to find a good place in the sun near the pool but be aware is gonna be shady during day and there's no proper beach, they have a sandy deck.Is not bad anyway,is just everyone has different tastes!

Don’t go here for sun it’s all in the shade
18 Sep 2018
Hotel was lovely and staff couldn’t do enough for you and were very friendly. Food was nice, nothing outstanding but plenty of choice, however, nothing was labelled and with some dishes you had absolutely no idea what it was. What let the hotel down massively is the palm trees surrounding the pools. We only stayed around the bottom pool as the top one was far too busy with guests getting up at 5am to put towels on loungers which is ridiculous. The bottom pool was heavily surrounded by dense palm trees. While I understand that this is to provide shade they are badly in need of cutting back. Only about 5 loungers got the sun all day and well over half of the pool area was in the shade all day. You go on holiday to sit in the sun not the shade. Also the sound system was horrendous. It was far too loud and the sound bounced around the area. This is a family hotel and you couldn’t even speak to each other because of the volume. When asked if it could be turned down a little the straight answer was no. The language in some of the songs was also offensive and disgusting especially as there was children with every group. Again, when asked for it to be changed the response was to shrug their shoulders. The entertainment crew were a joke. They literally stood around primping and preening and looking st themselves in the changing mirrors. Will go back to the area but not this hotel
