Hotel Rosamar & Spa

We were originally booked in on two rooms as there were 3 people in our party mum dad and adult son. but due to work commitments our son couldn't travel. We informed reception upon arrival that the second room wouldn't be needed. We were allocated room 1034 . When we got it the room it was absolutely tiny, without exaggeration one person had to get on the bed for the other person to be able to move around the room. We didnt like this but just presumed this was the norm. We made the best of it for the week as we dont like to cause a fuss and didnt want any hassle. But on the last day we were leaving our room and noticed a lot of doors around our floor were open, and to our shock the rooms were all much bigger than ours. Now in the cold light of day it looks like we were given our sons single room, because the bigger double room would be easier to re sell. So I cannot comment on anything else as it would be biased as I feel we were treated very poorly and my review would be colored by how I feel. It was our holiday and they should have not tricked us into having the tiny tiny room we were given. I am 58 and my wife 55. So by the fact that the hotel seemed more interested in their interests rather than our holiday I could not recommend this hotel to anyone else. they indulge in sharp practices. Food was ok first few days but when the shifts changed it was terrible.

After reading the reviews on trip advisor I was very concerned about picking this hotel well there was no need for my concerns I was more than satisfied with all aspects of the hotel the bedroom had more than enough space storage and the bathroom was excellent The staff were excellent so friendly and willing to help in anyway they could the food selection was very good yes maybe could be hotter but we always found something we liked, in fact we are so pleased with the whole package we are going to book again next year

First of all was very apprehensive about coming hereDue to mixed reviews on here. Do not worry if your coming here but you will have a lovely holiday. Some customers rude staff lovely. Travelled with my husband, 1 year old and parents/ brother and sister in law. RoomsRooms quite small but balcony huge (had a lovely view from 2nd floor- room 2003). Very clean though, towels provided and maid service daily. Fridge in room and enough storage for hanging up and folding in our room. You have to hire a safety deposit box for 40 euros (10 of which you get back at end). No kettle so if you want it you need to hire it at check in. Travel cot provided by hotel. Facilities No evening or day entertainment seen and was very low key. We made our own entertainment though on balcony. Pools were nice except the one meant to be indoor seemed a little grubby. Top pool was nice for adults only. Spa good but didn't use much. 2 pools downstairs one child's with a power slide in which our son loved. Sunbeds had good system of not letting you put towels on beds and going somewhere else and coming back to them much later. You need to get a bed before 9.30am to get one and stay with it. FoodBuffet was nice but very much the same w very couple of nights. In the summer months they open an a la carte with unlimited reservations called avi Pere. Food was delicious here and gave some variety. Other a la carte should not be listed as so as it is separate to hotel and is more a pizzeria. Did not eat at all in this. Pool bar was lovely but food was restricted to specific things in all inclusive. Drink choice was good unless you wanted brands. Another thing we all bought clothes to dress up in but nobody dresses up. In our opinion if you are attending an a la carte formal wear should be requested. All inclusive This is where the hotel missed the mark. There were too many rules! You had to be crossed off when you had a meal. The menu was particularly reduced at the pool bar; chips, toastie, hotdog or ice cream. No facilities on beach connected to hotel so had to pay for beds and parasols 7E each!!! The hotel should pay for a section on beach for all inclusive members!!StaffI cannot commend the staff at the pool bar enough. They were all very friendly and worked very hard and even had to put up with some very rude customers with class (Regina was particularly good with customer service).Overall hotel good but definitely 3 star not 4. Need to up their all inclusive facilities

Make sure the room is adequate and what you asked for. very many types and quality of rooms at this hotel. Has not got a bar as such as it joins with the Feeritti cafe and is not exclusive to hotel cutomers

The location was really good but the rooms were far to small you couldn't even walk round the bed and when you opened your balcony door that was just a communal landing just rooms backed on together, which was disappointing , also having to que to go for yor meals was something we have'nt ever had to do but I suppose that's what other nationalitys do!!! Also the foods was not great same things day in day out so we went out for our evening meals and we was a large family of ten but we couldn't do anything else ,so we won't be returning to the Rosamar and spa!!!!!

Enjoyed our holiday but was extremely disappointed to find out that we were not allowed to go and use the facilities at Rosamar Gardens as we were led to believe. Having 2 young lads made this even more so. I have holidayed with jet2 for the last 5 years but will consider other companies from now on.

We had two rooms here, both were very clean and quiet, the air conditioning was excellent we needed to switch it off at nights. There are three pools, one with salt water. The gym is small but fine for most people. We found that we needed to order drinks at night from a waiter, this meant as being all inclusive it rationed what we could drink. The pool area was quiet with little or no music or entertainment, some will like this others will want sports and games. The evening entertainment was good with locals joining us, the animation team work very very hard. Frank is good as the head waiter and looks after all your needs, including a bottle of wine for every table. Beach is very close by as are the local shops and bars.

Our room was ok size wise but the bathroom was more like a cupboard with the facilities in it. The room was cleaned every day and towels changed every day too. Lights in the corridor outside our room were flickering very badly which we reported but was still the same at the end of our two weeks. The food was ok for the most part. There was a lot of seafood which neither of us like so we sometimes struggled a bit. The staff in the restaurant were run off their feet particularly Flavia who was excellent. The entertainment if you could call it that left a lot to be desired so we didn't bother with it. The sun terrace was great but only accessible by stairs although we always managed to get sun beds. From there if you wanted to go to the spa or one of the other pools it involved stairs. Not good for anyone with poor mobility. For us the hotel is more like a 3 star.

The food in the hotel is awful!!! We are not fussy and eat almost anything but couldn't find very much to eat even the chips were awful. The food in the snack bar for all inclusive is awful too & apart from cocktail sausages & ham n cheese rolls there was nothing. So ended up eating out most days!! Only good thing was the omlettes at breakfast

We (my partner, 2 children and my partners sister and mother) stopped at Rosamar Spa hotel from August 15th for 10 nights. The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff ( apart from one utterly miserable waiter at the pool bar) were friendly and helpful. We had rooms facing a derelict building site at the back of the hotel but it didn't bother us. The pool was busy but clean and tidy. Drinks and snacks readily available at the pool bar. The sun terrace is lovely and the spa looked nice but I only used the basic Gym. The beach and promenade is lovely. The sea clean and a nice temperature. The beach is really small Pebbles which can be harsh on your feet. Lloret is a busy place and it quite built up and cramped. There's loads of restaurants and shops a short walk from the hotel and bars and clubs at the far end of the promenade. We were on All inclusive and the hotel food was decent. Nothing flash but plenty of choice and fresh. We eat in the separate Grill section where we had to book. It was a set menu and to be honest not good. The only bit of hotel I would criticise is the bar arrangements around the evening entertainment area. Tagged onto hotel is a private pizzeria. It looks like it used to be part of the hotel. You could get A/I drinks from the pizzeria for 2 hours. The entertainment was ok. But the layout of the stage seating is poor and could difficult to view if it was busy. We just stopped around the pool bar mostly on an evening. All in all tho a decent family hotel which I would be happy to go back too.

I stayed at this hotel for 11 nights in July with my partner and our 6 year old son . Its a bit misleading as to when we booked with jet2 as many of the featured photos of activities are at the sister hotel down the road which you CANNOT use your all inclusive at . Our room was quite small although it was clean enough . The food in the restaurant was fairly good but quite repetitive although having proper bottled juice with our meal was a bonus ! The hotel lacks entertainment for children , it does have a kids club but no games room and at the evening entertainment kids are not allowed on the dance floor before the show . Going with jet2 , we did not receive a welcome pack upon arrival or a welcome meeting to give us information about the hotel or excursions. We had to find our way about the hotel ourselves and the entertainment was really hard to find as it's at the back of the adjoining restaurant through a black door which is not signed posted . The bar area is rather small and becomes crowded early on at night although the friendly bar staff work hard to make sure u get served quickly . Overall we had a good holiday .

Really happy with hotel. Had a great stay with wife and son. Good facilities, clean hotel and friendly staff. Only fault was air con not great. Had to leave it on 24/7 . But overall very pleased and are going again next year

Just returend from a 1 week stay with my partener and our little girl. Cannot praise the hotel and staff highly enough. A great hotel, location, food, cleanliness and staff all top class. Rooms very modern and comfortable. Will be back to this hotel in future, of that there is no doubt.
