Guitart Central Park Aqua Resort

Hotel should have been graded 1 star as rooms were sub sub standard! We were offered another room which was as poor as the first which had holes in the floor and shower hanging of the wall, etc. Once I spoke to Imogen, a great rep, did we get a better room. The queues for the dining room were horrendous, at least a wait of 20-25 minutes to get in the dining room and then had to clear a table ourselves. Pool area was filthy and most sunbeds were broken.

Extremely dated hotel, rust bath, paint coming off the walls. Food tasted awful and was not labelled to even know what it was. Customer service was extremely poor and you were made to feel like a burden. I could go on but I would rather forget about this place...

lots of blocks of accomodation, lots of steps so not suitable for disabled/infirm, food average not a great choice, junior suite good room for family. pools nice but unable to get sunbed as all reserved by towels for the whole week. lift broken for 5 days so unable to access entertainment . good location for shops & beach. noisy at nights

After reading other reviews I was very concerned about what I had read. It couldn't be more wrong.... Wonderful holiday. Clean and comfortable apartment. Good Spanish food and fabulous children's entertainment and ALL staff was very friendly and polite. Please don't believe all you read. Yes, it was busy but it was high season and noisy at times but all quiet by midnight. Mixed bag of people but and age ranges which made for a good mix. Entertainment staff fantastic with children and very good at there jobs and I would love to see the same faces next year. Food all good. Good mix and plenty of choice. All other aspects of the all inclusive was great and no issues with getting drinks and snacks food. The place is well maintained I suppose you could say it's slightly weathered in places but not dirty as I have read in other reviews. We would go back tomorrow if we could and so would the kids. Very reasonable priced for what you get and not at all a pushy resort. Just relaxed and enjoyed. Well done to all who make it such a lovely holiday for all.

Having read some of the negative reviews, we were apprehensive about our 2 week stay here but happily, our accommodation was first class and we had no complaints about any aspect of our holiday (other than we couldn't stay longer). We stayed in what they call a Junior Familiar suite in the 4 star building and we had air-con, fridge, 2 TVs and 5 beds. The bathroom was large and well equipped. Fresh towels and bed linen were provided every day. The restaurant served vast selections of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner which varied every day. Plenty of healthy Mediterranean food as well as lovely roast beef, ribs, chicken, fish, salad, vegetables, cakes, ice cream, jellies and much more. At peak times, it did get a bit busy but we never had to queue for any more than a few seconds. We spent most of our days at the kids pool which is attached to a larger pool with loungers all around. The day we left (1st July), they started charging €1 per sun bed but up until then, they were free. We had to get up at the pool for around 8am to get a good spot. There are a few bars to choose from and the Waiters were civil and competent - some of them could smile a bit more! Free wi-fi is available around the bar and there are a few games and coin-op video games for the kids. A short walk gets you to the shops and bars of town and within a few minutes, you can be at the beach which has a coarse sand so doesn't stick to everything too badly. The kids had a ball and so did their Mum and Dad. Would love to return to this hotel in the future.

We went there for a week on the 6 of June this year and was very disappointed with the hotel the food wasn't good and not very warm you could only get a cup and saucer with your breakfast any others time you got your tea or coffee in a cola plastic cup with itch was very dangerous as it was warm and these cups are not made for warm tea or coffee also there was no ashtrays on tables outside witch lead to cigarette ends everywhere the tables and chairs outside at the pools were not clean and you had to use your towels from the room for the poolside as well there was no parasols at the pools and the weather was very warm especially as there were a lot of family's with small kids there the snacks were pre packed sandwiches or a cake in our room the smoke alarm was up with a Elastoplast and we have a photo of it one lift was not save and had duck tape over the sensor also have photos of this there was little entertainment at night only salsa dancing at night
