Pestana Alvor South Beach Premium Suite Hotel

Could not fault anything, stayed for 2 weeks in July, upgraded on arrival, friendly and helpful staff went above and beyond, Rooms very modern and well maintained. Breakfast was from 8am - 12pm so no rush and catered for everyone. Pool area was great no rush for sunbeds and hotel towels were provided, the 3 pools were cold but once in it was fine, great beach on your door step Already booked again for next year.

Great hotel , clean , very friendly staff , location for Alvor great , ideally positioned for the beach and the great boardwalk all the way along the beach. Rooms were lovely , upgrade to a balcony worth it to be able to sit out.

Great hotel really chilled. Facilities great, and really clean. Happy staff made the break more enjoyable. Breakfast was more than adequate and plenty of choice. Room was clean and tidy and very modern. Really enjoyed our stay I will be going back next year simply love the place made better by a great hotel. Excellent

Everything is five star in this hotel especially the staff..Great area near Alvor . Breakfast great ,service great, very clean. Pool area is excellent and plenty of beds Will be back soon with the rest of my family.

We have just returned from a three week stay at the Pestana Alvor South Beach. We had a fantastic holiday. The location and the decor and the comfy beds in the hotel helped to make our holiday what it was. The staff in the South Beach are young, vibrant, relaxed, informal and enthusiastic, although by no means does that mean that they were inefficient. They would go out to their way to make sure that you were having the best holiday ever. We are already booked for Canada next year, but want to make sure that we return to the South Beach in 2019

This is the first time we used this hotel we have stayed at the other Prestana hotels in Alvor it new and modern reception staff were so friendly nothing was to much trouble. We were on the ground floor only a couple of niggles on 2 occasions the cleaner had left the patio door open when we were out good job we but our valuables in the safe as anyone could have got in. The breakfast good choice but, hot food was cold and the juice and refrigerated food was warm having a smeg fridge is not the answer. Walking distance to Alvor go here for food at night so many amazing restaurants and bars. But the normal people spoilt the pool area with reserving loungers with towels on and not using them so selfish. But we will be back

Lovely hotel, nice and quiet, perfect location on the beach. Only improvements would be "Adults only" and a more extensive menu for half board, but has not put us off returning as we have booked for next year. Can't wait!

Really enjoyable week. Great weather, right on the beach hotel, pleasant walk into alvor with very comfortable surroundings. Breakfast with an excellent choice for anyone. Great start with a welcome gin and tonic on arrival .

excellent , the beach was only about 300 yards. we only stays for breakfast, but was lovely plenty of everything, if something was there all have to do is ask. ive never been to a hotel that have everything, but this have. you really want to try it you won't been disappointed , in fack we are going again, next year.

Excellent hotel, lovely staff, very good location. Only complaint we had the same menu for all of the week, and did not see a jet2 holiday rep all the time we were there. Lovely weather. It would be nice if the hotel had entertainment a couple of times a week.

Excellent hotel in a good location. We will be back. (Only downside - bar prices) Alvor is a very nice place with excellent restaurants, and is close to other pleasant resorts such as Lagos and Praya de Rocha

Wow, this hotel is a little gem, we loved the modern twist, the mixture of furniture in the lobby,restaurant area, the open plan of the whole of the ground floor gives it a welcoming feel. The pools looked very inviting , too cold for us in February , but the pool area is well appointed with seating and different areas to sit in , then there is a gate through which you can access the fabulous beach, and broad walks , on which you can walk comfortably for miles along the shoreline. Our bedroom had a sea view, a lovely large balcony to enjoy the view, the bedroom was a good size, compact but gave us everything we needed, the fridge was welcomed ,the artwork on the ceiling of the swimming girls is a unusual but funky idea. No tea and coffee making facilities , but after a couple of days we got used to that. Very clean and good size bathroom. We loved the breakfasts, plenty of choice and the omelettes were particularly good. All the staff we met were very friendly and extremely helpful. We would definately visit this little gem again.
