The Duomo

The Duomo

The Cathedral, or Duomo, was built almost 1000 years ago. It has had many renovations during that time, but the most impressive is the massive bronze door of which only two exist in Italy. There is a striking pulpit with columns set on lions made of marble and beautiful mosaics of birds and peacocks.
