Camara de Lobos holidays

Sprinkle a bit of magic on your getaway in Camara de Lobos. Sitting pretty on Madeira’s southern shoreline, this traditional terracotta-topped town is bursting with history and tales from a time gone by. We only have to travel back to the 1950s for one of the most well-known, when Sir Winston Churchill famously painted here!

Boats striped with ochre yellows and rose reds speckle the beautiful way, creating a spectacular scene against the rolling green hillside behind. Add in the wonderful whitewashed houses and fabulous floral displays and that’s a town in full colour right there.
