Alecos Hotel Apartments

We did not stay at apartment on photo , which was just as well as it was a Everest climb to door .... but the other apartment we ended up with was not very good at all..and we had to give more money , which I regret , as we should of demanded a refund and head to Marinas in the harbour area as they had plenty of vacancies at the time ....would never ever recommended this pig sty to anyone ....but if your happy to live in substandard ! Fill your boots ...a contractors B and B has more going for it .....

Recently updated so everything was like new the apartment we stayed in was generous it size. if spending hours on the balcony admiring the view is your thing then view rooms are limited, Friends bar which is below these apartments and has entertainment every night and a great menu! Something for everyone x

Stayed here for a week, rooms small but clean, lovely reception staff and good location. The appartments are attached to the friends bar which is a great little bar with entertainment and good food if you can’t be bothered to venture out. I would definitely stay here again.

We have just spent 14 nights at the Alecos Hotel in Paphos. The hotel offers clean, easily accessible accommodation with linen and towel changes everyday. The lady on reception has to rank as the most friendly and helpful person I have ever met on my travels so if there are any problems (which there weren't) I'm sure she would do everything possible to resolve them. The pool and surrounding area is very small so if your idea of a holiday is long, lazy days on sunbeds then the Alecos may not quite fit your bill. Good quality, reasonably priced food and drink is available from the adjoining "Friends" bar - the staff here are very helpful and friendly too. There are a couple of adjacent clubs which are open long into the night but any noise from these (and it;s not hugely loud) is barely noticeable so long as you close the doors in your accommodation (the air conditioning is free so there's no issue with doing that).The Alecos provided exactly what we wanted and were expecting from our holiday and we will have no hesitation is returning in the future.

Not luxury accommodation but everything you need and items such as irons are provided on request. Free Wi fi . Great central location . Friendly helpful staff. Daily housekeeping, clean towels etc.plenty of hot water. Most enjoyable experience.

lovely hotel jenny was amazing friendly and informative such a lovely lady. The hotel was good value for money large room cleaned daily and towels changed daily. The hotel was in a busy street and brilliant location for the beach and harbour. 24 hour kiosk over the road and brilliant greek restaurant Argo nearby amazing food lovely 11 nights here would totally recommend

Room B 102 1 bed apartment rather dated curtains half falling down so bad first impression Large bed very comfortable Studio 201 recently refurbished,lovely and modern Both didnt have good views but didnt expect it as in a built up area

Amazng, the apartment that we stayed in you couldn't fault. We did have a few problems with cockroaches but that didn't bother us at all. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The location of the apartments are also good as they are a 5 minute walk from the prominade.

Excellent value for money. Spacious rooms and extremely friendly staff. Asked for 2 single beds and was put in a room with a double bed so got upgraded to an apartment at no extra cost. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner. Entertainment was good especially the Elvis tribute. Only down side was the pool needed cleaning

Much be clean swimming pool.human dirty you see edge pool.i think never clean more than a month .i never swimm just laid in bedsun .hotel was average. Good money what we pay for..if im want to back holiday again i wll back again

We recently stayed at the Alecos Hotel Apartments in Paphos, the staff were friendly and welcoming especially in the bar. The ground floor Apartment was clean, tidy and spacious. Not to far from the sea front bars and restaurants. There were however a few things that we feel could have made our stay more comfortable. There was no plug in the bathroom sink, no proper wall hook for the shower head, we only had one pillow each. The Safe was a steep 14 euro's with no deposit refund for four AA batteries to power it. The air conditioning unit had no remote control so there was no way to adjust the fan speed or the temperature, we asked about a remote control but were told it had gone missing so we had to put up with it for our stay, the unit was either cold or off. Whilst we enjoyed our time in Cyprus, it is a lovely island with lots to do and see and Paphos is a great area to stay we would choose to stay at another property in the future.

stayed 11 nights at the Alecos Hotel - good size rooms, kept very clean and regular change of bedding and towels. Room C104 needs to be finished off after work carried out only half of the electric sockets working. The staff were superb, very helpful and always smiling. The Friends bar withing the hotel was excellent, good food , reasonable priced breakfast outstanding. The night entertainment provided was first class. The area around the hotel is a mixture of residential properties, bars, restaurants and night clubs- can be noisy when ending at 2am. The hotel is in a good postion for the promenade, harbour and supermarkets. All in all a very enjoyable break and would we stay here again, yes certainly..
