Adrian Hoteles Roca Nivaria Gran Hotel

We chose this hotel as it was where my parents had already booked and we decided to make a surprise visit for the weekend. The hotel reception accommodated my request to be located near my parents. The food was great, all the service teams were lovely and even sang happy birthday on mums big day along with a glass of bubbles. The Salt water pool was amazing. We would not hesitate in returning

the room we had was very nice and the view was brillant the staff that came every day were so helpful the location people may like it to be busier but i thought was very nice the food in the hotel was very good plenty of chose for everyone

Nothing v much to do do outside the hotel except walk along the short promenade. The hotel has lovely pools overlooking the sea. Our standard room was v spacious. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Buffet restaurant was good with great choice and quality.

This year was our ninth visit to this delightful hotel and it never fails to deliver. We go for a complete unwind and from the moment you walk through the door you feel relaxed. The repeat business is extraordinary. We meet the same people at the same time every year and even the staff and management don't seem to change very much.They are always friendly and helpful. Whether you dine in the excellent buffet restaurant or either one of the themed Italian or Spanish restaurants we have never been unable to find something to enjoy. Chose from a heated saltwater pool, a very cold but refreshing fresh water pool, a relaxing jacuzzi, mini golf, tennis, archery, rifle shooting, volley ball, aqua gym (or ordinary gym), enjoy the views of crashing waves along the seafront walkway or take the lift down to the secluded beach and just relax. The choice is yours. Evening entertainment is mixed. Impossible to please everyone all the time, I know, but some of the entertainment is really good, particularly the musicians who perform on the Market Night when local crafts people set up stalls around the pool. Playa Paraiso is not overly populated with nightlife establishments so if you're a dedicated clubber it's probably not for you but there are lots of young people go to this hotel too and it seems child friendly as well, with a Kids Club. Beds are singles - You need to request on your arrival that the beds are fixed together and made up as a double. Only one bathroom in a family suite so it was all on every night to get ready. Out side the hotel is poor. Even so, it is a brilliant hotel and well worth another stay in the future.

Stayed at the RN from the 21/6/16 for 11 nights. Wasn't the cheapest but it looked really good from the ads, especially for kids (have 4 &6 year olds) There is major construction works outside the hotel but you don't notice it when your inside. Staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean. Food was very good but a bit repetitive. Ate outside and regularly noticed bird droppings on the seats. Not what you want especially from a reputed 5 star. The child's buffet area wasn't open which was a disappointment as we opted for the hotel as it looked ideal for kids. swimming pools were good although the bottom pool was too deep for kids. Aqua aerobics took place at 11 a.m at the top pool at the shallow end which meant the kids had to wait until it was finished. Not ideal when the kids want to play and had to make do with the baby pool. inflatables werent allowed either, so the kids couldnt use theres. RN website stated that the staff regularly check the sun loungers to ascertain which ones werent getting used and would remove towels so others can use them. This didnt happen, beds were regularly empty bar a towel. i mentioned this to staff and was informed it was lunchtime and everyone had went for lunch. I did get an apology when i pointed out that me and my family werent at lunch. But no beds were cleared! the kids club was good and staff good also. Beach was good but would recommend beach shoes. Rooms were good but you could here other residents in other rooms + our 'double bed' was 2 singles pushed together. Had to regulary buy water only 2 bottles were provided in room the entire duration not what you would expect from a 5 star or for the money paid. You are allowed free entry to use the Spa facilities once, again for the money paid and for a 5 star i would have expected more. Asked for a late check out prior to arriving and 3 times whilst there. didnt get it, again for a 5 star thought this could easily have been arranged. On checking out felt the staff had went from very good to uninterested, which was a shame as we still had to use the hotel for 6 hours. The shower room given after check out was rubbish. Why cant you use the shower facilities in the Spa? Again 5 star?? The hotel is a little tired in areas and we didnt appreciate opening our room door 2 days in a row to find painters painting the corridor and dust sheets all along the corridors. Why was this not done off season? Would we go back, shame but no, not worth the money!

We went there with my wife 2 weeks ago. It was truely amazing. Brilliant service, wonderful place, first class rooms, food, drink... I have been to a couple of resorts so far but it's the best. Staff was friendly and helpful all the time. Waitresses, waiters were amazing. Cannot wait to go back.

If you are looking for peace and tranquility in a beautiful setting away from the hustle and bustle of the main resorts in Tenerife, with great facilities, great food, excellant lunch pool bar, friendly and attentive hotel staff then look no further - however, if you are looking for fun and excitement, partying until dawn then this is not the hotel for you. The location of this hotel is perfect for us as it is a good way away from Las Americas and is therefore a quiet resort. There is a supermarket close by and a few bars and restaurants and local shops. if you like to walk there is a good long walk along the shoreline behind the hotel. The three times we have been to this hopel we have noticed it to be popular with young couples with babies and/or very young children, middle aged couples and the more mature and is very popular with the British and Germans. The evening entertainment is really the only thing which we are dissapointed with but we continue to go because the day time/pool area offers exactly what we want - peace and tranquility.
