Locate of hotel perfect for us just by the promenade & beach area Food served excellent, tremendous choose for both breakfast & evening meal( only had half board) Our room was spacious, clean & tidy & English TV channels to choose Infinity pool area exceptional, private no under 16s & banana trees whilst you have a drink or bite to eat at cafe area Evening entertainment not particularly good, but ok One night the main act didn’t turn up, but the warm-up DJ act stepped in & did well Alcoholic drinks very reasonably priced at bar Staff & room cleaners very good, our rooms being cleaned every day All in all an excellent hotel, resort & weather was brilliant, only issue was wish we had booke more than a week 🤣

Fantastic hotel in a great location, brilliant facilities and the spa is awesome, the only thing i would say would be that if your expecting 5* start food then go self catering, the food is not bad however there is not a great deal to choose from.

We have been here for a week in December for several years and we like it as its right on the coast and a central position so you can leave the hotel and turn left or right for a long walk.The food is good and we like that the meal times are spread over a wide time span.

Fabulous hotel, right in the resort centre. Walking distance to so many lovely restaurants and bars. Plenty of shops, too. The room was so comfortable and clean, the restaurant had a wide selection of food to choose from, all beautifully cooked and presented. The adults only pool was a real bonus and the variety of evening entertainment was excellent. Definitely worth another visit!

This was our honeymoon, we arrived later than expected due too delays, staff were lovely and very accommodating, room Was clean and if suitable size, we had upgraded due too our honeymoon but seems they just added free access too spa which we did enjoy, we were half board the breakfast was the same every day but that wasn’t a bad thing as it was very good apart from the sausages, freshly made omelettes were the best! Lunch wasn’t great so we opted for dinner most days but even then we only stayed twice and decided too eat out the rest, pasta was ALWAYS swimming with oil no matter what dish it was 🤢 maybe just they way it’s cooked in Tenerife but not something that was enjoyable for us, pizza was the best and the salad was good too, over all the staff were amazing and the hotel was clean if we were too return it would just be bed and breakfast based, we didn’t receive any meals on our last day which we found very weird as we had a late evening flight home. We would recommend this hotel but on a bed and breakfast basis

After reading reviews after booking the hotel I was nervous to go but understand that people complain about anything. Everything the reviews state were completely true. It was unclean, the receptionists were rude, our door in hotel didn’t lock (after being put in the completely wrong room despite paying more), the noise from the strip was so loud it kept you up all night, there was also building works being carried out whilst we were there which completely ruined our time there. The person for Jet 2 did manage to move our rooms but unfortunately the experience had was out with his control. Have complained to Jet 2 and received no response despite expressing concerns over the hotel on the phone prior to going and being reassured. Please do not book here and very disappointed with the service of Jet 2, cannot believe this is rated a 4 star hotel.

So we booked a last minute break to Tenerife. Firstly don't book last minute . The hotel Troya was right in tge heart of Las Americas just up from tge busy Veronica's area. The hotel was rated as 4vstarcwhuch I would say is fair. We had a half board package and found the standard of food very good something for everyone. The hotel was very busy and had a largely Spanish clientele though all tge staff had excellent English. Our Room on night 1 was on tge first floor but was far too small for our family of 3 so we upgraded the next morning at a cost of 12 euro per person per day and got a fantastic room on floor 7 which simply was perfect. Tge receptionist Hannah was absolutely so helpful and understanding of our needs and we were very grateful for her help. The pool area was busy but we always got a sun lounger every day. The pool bar could be slow at times as it caters for drinks snacks and light refreshments but sometimes was only staffed with one person. The entertainment during tge day was quite basic and tge evening events just ok. All in all my family had a great experience in the hotel and we love Tenerife so look forward to visiting the island again .

Had a great time, out room was spotless, cleaned every day and had a great pool view. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Hotel situated in a great location. Pool area wonderful, one deep and rather cold pool with a shallower warmer pool, with a few tubs scatter around.

Amazing Hotel & fantastic staff. The food & choice of food was the best we've had on any holiday. Also the rooms are kept to a high standard with cleaners on a daily. Pool I expecting to be small but it was about the right size with some smaller pools and a few lazy pools to chill in.
