LABRANDA Playa Club Apartments

Nice Hotel and good location, free air on & TV is a plus, evening reception staff rude and unhelpful, asked twice for the safe key only to be told abruptly by the lady on reception she didn’t know anything about safe keys, sunbeds covered with towels by 7-8am everyday even though the pool doesn’t open until 9am Most of the day half the sunbedd are unoccupied however staff won’t remove towels,

Arrived at the hotel room to dirty towels, and constantly running toilet. Went to reception the next morning to complain about the towels and running toilet to be told it wasn’t my cleaning day so towels would have to wait until the following day. Toilet was eventually fixed after 3 separate complaints. Staff were rude which was disappointing as I’ve been before and this was not the case. Sun loungers are reserved all day with towels and not used, life guard does nothing about this.

Whilst the 2 bedroom apartment was clean it was very basic. Would have benefitted from extra pillows and some mugs rather than tiny cups. We had a problem with a very leaky kettle from the start - the water was everywhere and twice we had no hot water for showers. No afternoon sun but anyway the table and chairs on patio were in need of replacement. Best things about the complex were the staff and the location.

Although the hotel/apartments are in an excellent location, (a one minute walk and you’re on the Main Street in Peurto Del Carmen) the rooms are quite dated. However, the room we stayed in was clean and relatively comfortable so nothing to complain about here. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the food in the restaurant was nice, plenty of choice and a selection for everyone’s taste also the chef was willing to cook extras like poached or scrambled eggs etc. The pool areas were nice and clean and there were sufficient sun beds. Beware anyone wanting to use the hotel Wi-Fi though as it was practically non existent, the only hotspot was if you were sat by the entrance door. The reception staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay again if we were to visit this resort in future.

Second stay at this hotel. Great location for beach and bars etc. Very spacious for two of us and nice and quiet over the garden area. Does need to be updated, decor looking a bit tired and shower could be beter but clean and staff very friendly and polite.

Initially we had to request another room. Cracks in ceiling allowed cockroaches in. The next room was much cleaner. However the back door was at least 1.5 inches above the floor which allowed easy access to the local cockroach population.

These apartments are very basic with dated furniture they are clean and are spacious and very central to everything in Puerto Del Carmen. I suppose this is reflective of the price because they are quite reasonable I was a bit surprised that they were Jet2 apartments usually they are more superior than Labranda Club.

I stayed here with my sister and 2 children. We got a 2 bedroom apartment, it was huge! Yes the decor is a bit dated but how long do you spend in your room when you are on holiday? Staff were really lovely especially the main lifeguard. Cleaners were really good too. The hotel is in an ideal location very central and we can't wait to go back!

We have recently enjoyed an excellent 2 week break in this excellent hotel apartment. The site itself is compact which makes it ideal to gain access to all amenities without involving long hikes. Its location just behind the main avenue of small shops, bars. and restaurants is ideal and from inside the hotel grounds no noise is detected from these facilities. The pool is heated and there are plenty of bed chairs to go round. our only suggestion for improvement would be more "implements" for those who really want to self cater. Finally we wish to comment on the friendly and efficient staff - reception, cleaners, maids and bar - they really were excellent We have already booked to return next year.

Excellent location good service coming back for another holiday in March .good pools and a lifeguard on duty when the swimming pools are open also they have a grassy area with sunbeds if you prefer it quiet

We loved this apartment resort it was just the right mix of atmosphere without being noisy. The apartments have everything you need to make a basic breakfast or snack as there’s a no need to cook with so many choices of restaurants in Playa Del Carmen. If you can’t get a sunbed it doesn’t matter as there is a beautiful grasses area under the palm trees. My only criticism is that the beds were for me we’re extremely hard and uncomfortable. The location of this resort is perfect and with a supermarket directly behind it this makes it easier to buy just a little bit of what you need daily. I’ll

We spent 11 nights here from the 30th July,Rooms are basic and clean but perfect for the price. All reception staff really nice always spoke as we went through.Special mention to the lady on reception I cant remember her name but she had fab glasses Red&Blue sorted out our late check out as didnt fly till really late but the €30 meant we could make the most of our last day.She was lovely!! We didnt use the pool as was our first ever holiday on our own without kids or as a group so preferred the peace of the beach. Hotel couldn't be any closer to the strip and beach,lots of nice little coves which we preferred to the busier beach. Returning in November with our daughter😍😍We booked to go back within less than a week
