Hotel Beatriz Costa Teguise & Spa

I do not usually put forward a review but this hotel is not anywhere near the standard I expected. It is in desperate need of refurbishment, ceiling linings hanging down, air con leaking water into the room, carpeting threadbare in areas. What let this hotel down the most was the food, breakfast was great with a full range of cooked and cold selections, lunch and dinner were a different matter, poor selection of main courses, a salad bar that was identical every meal, dirty crockery and a snack bar by the pool that appears to be sandwiches and buns made from the breakfast leftovers. Loved its sister hotel in Matagorda and would go back there tomorrow but not this one.

The room was spacious and comfortable with a good sized balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice to have spa treatments available for my holiday. The restaurant was fine and the food tasty. Sometimes it was difficult to get a table at busy times which meant food got cold. The main drawback of the hotel was its location away from the beach and shops, which involved a lengthy walk or bus or taxi.

Stayed here in July. All the family 10 of us. Air conditioning wasn't working, it was extremely uncomfortable in all public areas , trying to eat while you were melting was not the best. The food wasn't up to much and the queues for food was unbearable some nights. We won't be going to this hotel again.

Set back from the main area of Costa Teguise but courtesy bus was available 3 times a day or taxi approximately €5. There was a good choice of food though often luke warm, some food was cooked fresh while you watched and waited. You could opt to upgrade to separate dining area. The rooms were a good size and all had sea views in the distance. The balconies were quite private and the rooms cleaned daily. Wardrobe space was sufficient but the hangers were awkward to have more than one garment on each. Large pool area with various areas to sunbathe. Seemed to have plenty beds and kept clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a nice ambiance about the place and variety of evening entertainment. There were some shops and a spa situated within the hotel. Overall I felt it was good value for money and allowed for the relaxing break I wanted.

Very child friendly hotel the food is good it is a bit dated but still very clean staff are good the entertainment is not so good but you can get a taxi into town for euros overall its a very good hotel

This hotel has the potential to be fabulous but lots of things let it down. First the positives - large pool area, great choice of food, great entertainment team, reception area is spacious and looks good, rooms are a great size and bathroom is nice, bar staff friendly and polite. The negatives - very outdated, i don’t think this hotel has had any work done to it in 25 years. There is tatty patterned carpet everywhere, looks like it’s from the 1970s. Some of the furniture in the public areas is stunning, the rest is old and tatty. The reception staff are rude and frankly they spoil the hotel. The pool area has the potential to be a great area however it is filthy. There were spilt ice creams and drinks on the floor that were not cleaned the whole week I was there. Cups and rubbish all over and not cleaned up. Soggy tissues in the grates by the pool that knocked me sick. To be honest the whole hotel feels dirty, the public toilets were not cleaned enough and stunk. The mini club is a pokey room which agin is filthy with carpet older than me that is lifting up and covered in stains. The rooms are so hot even with air con on and some of the bedding had blood stains on it! It is such a shame as it could tick all the boxes if a bit of money was invested in modernisation and employing decent staff. I didn’t pay too much to go here, it was a bargain and now I know why but I would have been upset if I had spent a lot of money to go here.

Hotel is the furthest from the theme parks, approx. 15min walk but it was comfortable and had all required. You need to plan when to eat breakfast and lunch as you have to book onto the 3 option sittings. There isn't any evening entertainment as that is at the park. Lunch vouchers can be used at rhe Hotel or at each of the parks which is good.

Our third visit to the Beatriz. A great place to both relax and party. Excellent value for money with the all inclusive package being generous and quality. The hotel and grounds are well maintained giving a safe and warm atmosphere to your stay. Lots to love and little to dislike, we will continue to visit annually.

I tried this hotel on the recommendation of a friend, so glad I did, the hotel is stunning, staff are great, on first name terms after the first day, rooms are spotless, food is varied with plenty of choices, the only downside is that it’s a bit off the beaten track, but it’s only €3.5 into town. Would I recommend this hotel, 100%, loved it so much, already booked for next year.

Very quiet location out of town Would suit older couples , Middle of the road entertainment could be better.Ideal for quiet relaxing holiday. Excellent food great varied choice often freshly grilled and cooked in restaurant.. Enthusiastic reps. A little overpriced

Hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is about 15-20 minutes walking to the beach but the hotel does lay on a free shuttle to the beach and also on a Tuesday a free shuttle to Food is ok and the entertainment is the same as any Hotel. Have had 4 stays at this hotel and enjoyed my stay here.

Had a wonderful week at this hotel over christmas. Entertainment ok bit hit and miss but fantastic soul group on christmas night, great atmosphere, everyone dancing. Staff work really hard, food good, pools good, Rooms large, bit dated but spotless. Looking forward to returning.
