H10 Suites Lanzarote Gardens

Just back from H10 Suites Lanzarote Gardens. It’s taken me a couple of days to get over the experience! I would warn anyone not travelling with small children to give this hotel a wide berth. I travelled with a female friend and can totally agree with another review which stated this hotel is jam packed with small children and babies. The noise was horrendous at meal times. There were small children running around the restaurant unsupervised, carrying their own food and eating it whilst they walked. Food dropped under nearly every table. At one point I was carrying two cups of coffee which nearly went over a little girls head as she bumped into me whilst playing with a soft toy. I get that parents want to enjoy their holiday as well, I did when travelling with my children, but they are so preoccupied with their mobiles that some don’t have a clue where their children are some of the time. I have to say the staff in the restaurant deserve a medal the size of a dustbin lid!! Whilst on the subject of the restaurant: Evening Meal .. plates were cold, food was either cold or luke warm. The soup was the only thing that was “sometimes” hot Breakfast .. was a little better with plenty of choice but on the whole still not a hot meal in sight The rooms were fairly spacious and quite comfortable, great pillows. A plus was, a full size fridge in the small kitchen area which came in handy to chill drinks and make ice The pool area was quite nice with well kept gardens and plenty of sunbeds. Not quite sure what it would be like in high season We didn’t experience any of the evening entertainment as the room was brimming with pushchairs and small children running about the place. We did however find a great music bar just up the road to the right of the hotel It was so bad we did ask to be moved but it was at a cost of nearly £800 so we decided to brave it out by going for a late breakfast and a late event meal when the dining room was a little more bearable Would I stay at this hotel again .. definitely not .. Even if my children were still small. I’m not even sure it should be rated 4* I would say maybe 3* plus

Family of seven, grandparents, mum dad and three boys 9 and twins 7. Great hotel for families. Hotel is immaculate, rooms spacious, comfy beds. Restaurant serves a huge selection of food, if you can’t get something to eat here then you must be very hard to please. Staff are amazing. Location is brilliant, close to shops, pharmacy and beach is 5minutes walk away. Perfect!

My family and I stayed at the H10 Lanzarote Gardens for 10 nights and what a pleasure it was. Arrived late in evening and when checking in staff had prepared food for us and other guests also arriving late, really nice!. All staff, from reception, restaurant staff, cleaners, to the amazing Blue team were great, could not fault them. We were half board, as like going out for dinner, but as the food at the hotel was so good, we ate out only 1 night out because the choice, presentation of food was amazing. Entertainment from the Blue team was exceptional, they put a lot of hard work in and it showed, from Mamma Mia to the Lion King. My 6 year old daughter was always delighted to see the Blue team, especially at Mini disco and they always made her smile. Special thanks to Diego on behalf on my 10 year son, he is football daft and loved the football sessions with Diego. Rodrigo was an amazing guy who was always happy and fantastic at what he does and made my kids smile every day. We loved our time here and will definitely recommend and return.

We took our children here for their first family holiday in June this year. Our children are 2 and 4. We were given a ground floor room which had a lovely patio area and was near to the children's play area. Thankfully the bed in the bedroom was extremely big as our 2yr old decided he wasn't sleeping in the travel cot and our 4yr old didnt want to sleep in the other room by himself so we ended up with 4 in the bed. The swimming pool area was great for kids and we never had any problems getting a sun bed. There is a small toddler pool, a larger swimming pool and then the main pool which gets gradually deeper and has slides and water features. There are also a couple of children's play areas, which our children loved spending hours playing in them. We were staying on a half board basis, as we didnt think all inclusive would be a real benefit given the age of our children. The breakfast offering was excellent with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, cold meats, breads, hot food and freshly made crepes. So there was plenty to keep everyone happy. Again at the evening meal there was a variety of meats, pasta, fruit, salad and other hot food as well as a large variety of desserts. Each night there was a different offering and the variety meant you never got bored of it. The only downsize was when I weighed myself when we got home. Evening entertainment is very good, although alot of the songs at the kids disco were in German, so I'm not quite sure what I was dancing to, but the kids seem to love it and doing all the actions and dragging me up to do the same. The shows after the disco were enjoyable, and I would recommend the Mongolian one. The location of the resort is 5mins walk from the beach and as my kids love digging and building sandcastles this was perfect. There are a number of supermarkets within a 5 or 10min walk and there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the local area. Whilst the area is much quieter than Puerto del Carmen it was perfect for us as a family. You can get a local bus to puerto del carmen and these run through the night but take quite some time, but dont cost very much. A taxi will cost about 25-30 euro. If you dont mind driving rental cars are very reasonable. All in all a great holiday and I would def go back to h10 lanzarote gardens

What a great hotel for familys loads of entertainment kids loved the ship with the water slides.The food was good always lots of choice and something for every1.The family rooms are big and have everything you need in them .

Fantastic hotel - amazing choices of food for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner - along with the Pool Bar snacks. First Class entertainment for children and adults. A wonderful place to stay for families and even older couples. Outstanding accommodation - spotless ! Looking for deals before we left to return next year, Staff were so attentive towards the children. They become your friends from day one. Outstanding entertainment in the evenings for children and adults!

We travelled to Costa Teguise and stayed in the H10 Lanzarote Gardens Hotel in May/June 2019. We found the hotel to be very clean and tidy with great staff who were very helpful and friendly. They were also great with our 3 kids (all under 5). When we arrived there was a cot waiting for us. The only time I contacted reception was to tell them there were no sheet on the cot and within 5 mins an apologetic staff member arrived with sheets. The hotel has a kids club and baby club all well staffed by energetic crew who double up by playing poolside games with kids and adults, fitness classes, and nighttime shows. There are 2 pools and a baby pool which are well staffed by lifeguards and lots of sun beds with parasols. You always get the usual suspect reserving sun beds at stupid o’clock but the hotel ask people not to reserve beds until at least 10am. That said I didn’t see any towels get removed before 10am. We had a downstairs apartment near the back of the hotel and close to the news kids area and laundry (€3 for 1 wash not including detergent). The apartment had a large terrace which was great for the kids and it got the afternoon sun. This was handy for sunbathing (and drying clothes). It was also very quiet even at night when the pool bar was playing music. We had a tv with cable in the main living area and another in the bedroom. It had several uk channels and a USB port which was great for playing movies for our kids. The food selection is great for breakfast and dinner and serving staff are very friendly and helpful and they love kids too. There’s a show every night in the auditorium preceded by a kids disco. The hotel is 5 mins walk from the beach. There’s also a bus stop outside which takes you to the Aquapark, Puerta Del Carmen, Arrecife, etc. There’s loads of taxis and a taxi rank to the left of the hotel. There are several Spar or Dino Supermarkets. If you join as a H10 member before you go you get a free beach bag, 2 waters, 2 cocktails and you can have a (free) late checkout until 2pm (depending on how busy the hotel is). Otherwise you pay €25. Hotel WiFi is great and available all around (tho performance dipped during the Champions League Final!). You can also store bags at reception. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone and we would definitely return.

Great hotel for children. Food excellent. Rooms all have great location to pool and facilities, they are plain and basic- we stayed 115 very close to pool and pool bar. Entertainment staff, excellent! Alex and his team so friendly, so many activities for the kids and adults, plus great kiddie clubs. The pool area is great- although can be cold this time of year- Daniella the life guard is excellent, she knows every child and their ability and will give you advice or tips or how to keep child safe or even improve swimming and confidence, we really felt so blessed to have such a caring and passionate member of staff looking out for us and our children. Will definitely return again

I have been here 3 times and will return. Its a great place, lovely accomadating staff, good food and clean rooms. Kids have a great time between the slides in the pool and the kids club/play area. The staff through out the hotel are long term, some have spent many years working at this hotel, great to see the same faces time and time again. Can't be a bad place if they are hanging around!!!

We stayed at the H10 Garden in mid October. We found our appts spotlessly clean and up-to-date date decor. The overall hotel was lovely. The food was some of the best I have had at a buffet style restaurant.I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.The beds were quite hard and I struggled to sleep on them but others in our party didn't have a problem.
