Secrets Bahia Real Resort & Spa

Just got back from an amazing 10 night stay at this beautiful hotel and can honestly say I can’t fault a thing . The staff are unbelievably attentive and work so hard , special mention to Sofia , James and Margeria , just amazing . It’s a good walk into resort centre but one we were grateful for as you can’t help but over indulge on the food wine and cocktails !!. Would recommend on a heart beat

We booked through the Indulgent Escapes. The hotel is 1/2 hour drive from the airport on outskirts of Corralejo which is 20-30 minutes walk. It lived up to all our expectations. Lovely room with view across to Isla do Lobo/ Lanzarote. Very comfortable bed with quality room and balcony furniture. Public areas immaculate, staff always helpful and friendly. Excellent buffet breakfast with many alternatives. We had dinner in the buffet restaurant three nights. Good quality and plenty of choice. Some offerings suffer from the "bain marie" curse ie become "stewed", but there are fresh cooked alternatives. We also tried the speciality restaurants which you have to book and can cost extra depending on your meal plan. We very much enjoyed the international and the Spanish themed restaurants but we found the Japanese restaurant not to the same standard, our tempura dishes could have been crisper and our steak main was served with a very salty teryaki sauce. Excellent spa and the gym looked well equipped. The beach appears of imported sand and is rocky in parts, but is well equipped with sun beds, umbrellas and the like with a life-guard on duty daily. An excellent sandy beach where kite boarding etc is done is a 20 minute walk further out of town. The hotel changed ownership during our stay but subject to no disastrous changes, we plan to return.

This hotel is rated as 5 star and every aspect was first class. Our only disappointment was that it was not possible to swim from the beach in front of the hotel. The buffet restaurant " La Alacena Real " was one of the best we have experienced, and all the staff without exception were top rate.

Really nice hotel. Most of the staff are willing and friendly. The room was well equipped and the bed comfortable. the breakfast was extremely good. Although it was a Buffett selection it was well spaced out and you never felt that you were queuing. The spa is amazing and well worth a visit. We were there at the beginning of February and found the weather disappointing because of this we didn’t always feel like the 20 minuet walk is not town but there are taxis available just outside the hotel costing 3 or 4 euros. We would probably go back but not in February.

My wife and I have just returned from a week's holiday in this hotel. From the minute we arrived until we left the staff were so friendly and professional,As a special occasion I booked a sea view room and wasn't dissapointed with the room or view.i would also recommend going half board plus as the experience off eating in the various restaurants added to our great experience and the food and staff in these restaurants were second to none.I was very impressed with the hotel in the aspects of being immaculate and Clean,

We love staying at this hotel in Corralejo so much that we have returned many times now. The hotel is right on the beach with amazing views. The staff are all so helpful and friendly and any special requests or problems are dealt with promptly. The breakfast buffet is very good and I love the freshly cooked omelettes.looking forward to our next visit later this year.

A lovely classy hotel. The service was wonderful, the staff very friendly, the breakfast and restaurants we used were excellent. The hotel private beach is small but nice and the sunbeds and cabanas are well spaced and comfortable. There isnt a great opportunity to swim from the hotel beach due to rocks, but there are boardwalks to swim from and you are only about 15 mins walk to the sand dunes. The hotel pool area is very nice with lots of plants sunbeds and 3 pools. About 25 mins walk or a cheap taxi takes you into the centre of Correlejo where there are lots of bars restaurants and shops for all tastes and pockets. Nightime hotel entertainment was quality and relaxing. We didnt use the spa but it looked lovely. All in all a great winter sun break in a very nice hotel. Would go again.
