Melia Sunny Beach

Excellent hotel very clean staff all pleasant and food was first class every day couldn’t fault hotel or location quiet yet central enough to be able to enjoy bars and restaurants visited nesebar beautiful place can go by boat or train great experience would highly recommend doing this as part of your stay lots of market stalls and shops selling everything you require and great value for money

Had an amazing time with my family. I was at the hotel pre covid when it was run by Iberostar and now returned to the hotel which was taken over be Melia. The rooms were clean the food was the usual buffet standard but always found plenty to eat. Pool areas were cleaned every day and plenty of loungers and a variety of pools to choose from. I had an issue with the fridge in my room and it was changed very quickly with no fuss. The hotel is close to beach and lots of shops and bars. Will definitely return to this hotel

Had a fantastic holiday in Aug 22. Hotel was fabulous - incredibly clean and well maintained. Selection of food is fabulous - there is most definitely something for everyone and the selection is extensive. Hotel was well staffed for the busiest weeks of summer and we didn't have to wait for anything. Special thanks must go to the fabulous animation team. My 4 year old was excited to go daily. The crafts and activities they put on far exceeded our expectations of 'musical chairs' etc. Water fights, slime making, pizza making, pirate day - all very well organised and the animators were so kind and welcoming to all the children. Plenty of sunbeds available although you do need to go down early (7am) to reserve a poolside bed. If towels are left unattended they are just lifted by the staff though which is good. Overall we felt thoroughly looked after for the week we stayed and I would definitely stay here again.

So the Melia a 4* all inclusive hotel. First of all this was not my choice of hotel or location. Jet 2 advertised a closed hotel and rang me 28 hrs before i was due to travel and offered a change of hotel or refund. So i was booked in a 160 room adult only hotel in Nessebar an old historic town serene and tranquil. Melia has over 1000 rooms and is full of screaming kids running riot and drunken chav’s. Located in a derelict war zone. Every thing is shut and boarded up even Mc Donalds and KFC, Sunny beach is horrific! The hotel it’s self very nice smart, clean, comfortable. Staff are very helpful and pleasant, food is amazing and plenty full. Such a shame about it’s location.
