Vista Blanes

The apartment was lovely but very quiet as it was late October,so the tv was important for us ,and couldn't get English channel and was told to just keep scrolling,so very disappointed. As it did say tv available but not good if we couldn't get English programmes'

Room's weren't air-conditioned but the reception area was. There was no rep. on the transfer just handed an envelope and basically fend for ourselves. Had to hire a fan which was nigh on useless. Entertainment was poor thank goodness for a pool for the children.

My family and i have recently spent 10 nights at this complex and really enjoyed it there where 14 of us ranging in age from 4 months to 58 years. We where greeted at reception warmly and helpfully and all staff we came into contact with afterwards where lovely. The complex was clean and very well maintained at all times. The downside was that the kitchen areas in the apartments could do with an upgrade but in saying that everything worked and there was plenty of equipment. Air con would have been a bonus. Bar prices where expensive :(

Wont be visiting unless in 90 and about hit the ground as there is nothing in this resort. Children got infections from pool as their feet were cut open from both pool as tiles were crumbling in the water. Pools never clean. Pool area very untidy. Poor lighting at night also. Restaurant very poor quality and 2 of my childresn had upset stomach. Avoid!

Just perfect any problems sorted pronto wifi magic food great only prob was not hotels it was transport buses full hr at bus stop taxis 30mins worse on market days Monday and fridaypool brilliant little supermarket reasonable the little beach is wonderful the palm tree forest is like the carribbean

The apartments were very clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. Excellent pool, family friendly. The bar did an excellent range of drinks and snacks. The shop had the basics that you need for example bread, teabags, milk etc.

We have recently returned from our two week holiday at Vista Blanes Apartments, our family (myself, my partner, our 4 children and my parents!) all had an absolutely fantastic holiday! Our two bedroom apartment was very spacious, perfect for our family of 6, and my parents one bedroom apartment was a good size too. The apartments are a little dated, but are kept extremely clean and tidy, and the whole complex was absolutely lovely, the pool was huge, plenty of sun beds, and everywhere was very clean and well looked after. We loved the location, it was perfect for us, lovely and quiet, only a few minutes walk to the local cove, with a lovely little beach and beach bar built into the cave/rocks which we walked to every evening for a late night drink. The main strip was a 20 minute walk, which we enjoyed walking, although my parents got a taxi when it was too hot to walk, only cost approx 5 euros each way. The strip had plenty of shops, bars, restaurants etc, and a great water park too, well worth a visit! The onsite restaurant was our favourite, we ate out at the strip a few times, but the majority of our meals were at the onsite restaurant as the food was very good, the staff very friendly, overall a very good service. The onsite supermarket had everything you would need, and the staff were very friendly. There are other larger supermarkets within 5-20 minutes walk away. The reception staff (especially Caroline!) were very kind and helpful. Our jet2 rep Sammy was absolutely lovely too! We had fantastic holiday, and look forward to visiting Menorca again!

Enjoyed all 8 days hotel was very clean and tidy and staff were friendly,don't let the walk to near by cala forcat put up off it's a 10 mins walk very pleasant 10/10 from us would advise this holiday to anybody

Could do with more towel changes apart from that a lovely hotel.nice large two bedroom apartment.a little dates but good value for what you pay.nice big swimming pool and lovely grounds.nice walk into the centre and lovely little beach down the hill

Visited menorca and this resort previously, although some yearsago. The resort is quieter with some amenities closed or a bit run down. In saying that a perfect base for visiting beaches and the local pirates bar is excellent with friendly staff. Watermark worth a visit. Cuitadella is great and how we remember it. Apartments are very basic and a bit neglected, even if this is what you are expecting. We were moved for some reason which didn't help. Then woken by the sound of the bin lorry early every morning outside our Windows. Few electrical issues and bathroom showers bit icky The little on site shop is good. Pool amenities excellent despite the poor quality of rooms.

We had a chance to book a late deal for the Vista Blanes and did all the usual reading of reviews. Yes it's not 5 star accommodation, yes the rooms are a bit dated and yes it is on the edge of the resort but we knew all that before we booked. With that in mind, we were pleasantly surprised with the apartments as the swimming pool was huge, the bar lovely and handy for a cold beer in the heat of the sun then just a short walk away were the Pirate Cove beach bar, La Gruta restaurant, Sa Cova bar, Mr Beps restaurant and Es Pitus pizzeria. There's a small supermarket at the apartments and a couple of bigger ones 5-10 minutes walk away. A gentle 15-20 minute meander took us to Cala'n Brut and the platform beach or on to Los Delfines where the majority of bars and restaurants are located. Heading in the opposite direction Ciutadella is a gentle 40 minute wander along the coast past some beautiful houses. After our evening stroll into the center for food and more cold beer, we would arrive back to find things lovely and quiet at the apartments then enjoy a nightcap on our balcony while looking back over the trees into town. The Vista Blanes might not be right for everyone but it was perfectly fine for us.
