Iberostar Selection Albufera Park

A recent addition to the Iberostar collection and completely renovated hotel. This hotel is excellent, great buffet restaurant with excellent choices for breakfast lunch and dinner. Great Mexican, Greek and Spanish restaurant in addition. Amazing beach front location and multiple swimming pools. Great hotel for families.

There are 2 bars. Main bar and pool bar. Of an evening everyone has to use this one bar which gets very crowded. Outside too. Entertainment is very good but lasts for 1 hour only. 9pm till 10pm. Then nothing else.

Very clean, relaxed, all inclusive hotel. Came here with our 2 boys - 16 & 13; there was plenty for all of us including nightlife for the 16 yo. Suite perfect for family of four. Alcuudia is an easy bus ride away for Roman ruins & medieval walls and chic cafes.

Just returned from a lovely holiday staying at the Albufera Park. Very clean well maintained property and good food choice and standard.Pool was large and lovely and had great activities going on such as water aerobics, water polo etc.Unfortunately not enough sunbeds for everyone staying there I always wonder why hotels don't just allocate you a sunbed each for the duration of your stay as it would make life alot easier, we are late risers and the sunbeds would always be gone by the time we arrived on the poolside! The beach is even more ridiculous as all sunbeds are reserved 7-10days ahead so you have very little chance to get them except late afteroon where you still pay the full day fee even though you may only get the last 2-3hrs of the day there. The entertainment team worked very hard and were all very talented but some outside acts would have been good to have as the standard for shows like MamaMia and Madagascar just weren't professional enough and somewhat cheesy. Also for older kids 13yr upwards there wasn't much organised for that age group.The reception area is always busy and in the majority the staff were helpful one girl was very stern and quite abrupt she could do with a refresher in customer service and always having a smile to greet customers would be beneficial here. Our apartment was great,very spacious,bright and airy .Carmen was a great cleaner and it was maintained to a high standard throughout our stay .Nice touches too like flowers, sweets and a bottle of wine before we left were all a great and welcomed surprise.Location is lovely if you just want peace and quiet but it could be a little out of the way for some .
