VIVA Blue & Spa

Really lovely large-ish hotel. Sensational staff everywhere and really good all inclusive buffet - loads of vegan and vegetarian choice if a little bit samey. Impressively clean, rooms got a great makeover everyday. We didn't get too many mosquitos but we had pool views, i imagine those on the other side (jungle view or whatever) might have been eaten alive. Particularly enjoyed the Kids Club which was of the "pick what you want to do from the board and do that when it's on" rather than "drop off the kids for the day" variety. Our kids generally don't like Kids clubs and we prefer holidaying with them a bit, so the "pick and mix" style suited us very well. The pools are great though very busy and we didn't have too much trouble finding at least one lounger every day, though plenty of people are still quite selfish about securing a lounger for the day with towels and then disappearing. Lifeguards very visible and alert, and the lane swimming pool has a children's obstacle course on it most of the time but adults can still do lanes on the sides. All in all a great break - three minor criticisms: 1. t's a couple of blocks from the beach - but if you get there the beach, Cala Muro is well worth crossing the roads for. 2. weirdly we weren't offered any help moving our luggage to the room - not a problem for us but i imagine would have been more difficult with more kids/less able parents. Surprised they didn't offer a trolley at least 3. bar service in the evenings is tremendously slow (if you plan to get drunk it's not the place, go find a bar on the road), and the entertainment not quite as impressive as some we've seen. But all in all a lovely holiday. If we returned we wouldn't go all-inclusive again as felt we didn't get full value from it - we'd go for bed and breakfast, as breakfast was excellent!

Hotel was nice much like other hotels we have stayed in which have been 3-4 stars. I must admit I was expecting more as we paid a lot more than we would normally pay as it was for a special occasion, but i would say it was like all the other hotels we stayed in Balearics. Beach wasn’t as close as I was expecting it to be but it wasnt a long walk. We found the transfer from airport much longer than it needed to be as we seemed to be going round in circles, it was much quicker on way back. Overall this is a nice hotel, food and drink much like most all inclusive resorts. I would just make sure you get a good deal as I don’t think the holiday was worth the price we paid.

Beautiful hotel staff so friendly & made you feel very welcome . Food was fantastic so much choice & was all fresh . Rooms was lovely very clean as all of the hotel & the spa is very nice too & very reasonable prices . My kids loved the staff so much they gave them their spending money as a tip

Fabulous hotel, excellent staff, fabulous range off menu's to choose from hotel was spotless aso was the indoor pool and sauna also a good range off activities to suit everyone will definitely be going back .
