Back in 1973, the Maritime Museum of Crete opened its doors. Still to this day, it’s a great place to visit while you’re in town, and displays fascinating nautical exhibits. Among the artefacts, you’ll see models of ships and wrecks, old relics, paintings and photos from the past.
