Sundia by Liberty Suncity formerly Suncity Hotel

Overall we really enjoyed our holiday here. Upon arrival the reception was a bit chaotic with several people dealing with our reservation. Our room needed updating, the air conditioning wasn't working ( once raised at reception they were straight over and resolved this), which resulted in the room being cooler than the fridge, which we also pointed out to reception wasn't working. We also had to keep switching the shower off mid wash, as it wasn't draining properly and risked flooding the bathroom. On our last full day the room wasn't cleaned, which isn't good when you have to put the toilet paper in a bin. Have to say, the food selection was great, the staff were amazing (Naz in the main restaurant is an absolute star) and most of the enterainment is worth watching. The beer is poor and they do use local spirits as opposed to the bottles on display at the pool bar. Did hear of people getting charged extortionate amounts at some of the local bars in Oludeniz and Dalaman airport is an absolute rip off ( two big mac meals, a glass of wine, a small beer and a bottle of water cost us £74.00). Be warned!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at SunCity. The food was always fresh and plentiful, with a very good selection to suit all tastes. A particular favourite was the freshly made to order omelettes. A great start to the day. Drinks measures were always generous and I never waited more than 5 minutes to be served. Pool bar served in large plastic ‘glasses’ so taking your drink poolside was never an issues. The Tom Collins cocktail was my favourite. It’s literally less they 5 minute walk to the strip but far enough away to avoid any noise spillover. A Turkish massage at the on-site baths is a must, as is a Turkish shave &/or haircut at the barbers. Honesty the only thing I guess could improve is the friendliness of the team who serve at the snack bar. The food was ok, but it always felt like a bit of a chore for the team who served us, nothing like the friendly reception we received every time at the main restaurant. Rooms are clean and adequate, nothing fancy but a great base from which to enjoy a fantastic holiday. We also used the on-site gym facilities a couple of times to get some extra training in whilst there. The gardens were kept immaculate with gardeners working almost every day we were there. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will return in the future.

We arrived late at night at Sun City, Olu Deniz and didn't appreciate the beauty of the setting until we woke up the following morning and saw Mount Babadag, a lovely lush backdrop. We had a long day travelling and got a friendly reception, including our cases being carried to our room. We had a 2 bedroom apartment overlooking the adult pool which was ideal for our family. It was very clean and the maids did a fantastic job. We had no shortage of towels and came back to some towel art on a couple of occasions. The hotel grounds and pool areas are immaculately maintained and the staff are very friendly. Special mention to Tweety who organised our Spa/Turkish bath (never had one before and it was amazing!) The location of the hotel is great - close to the strip where you'll find lots of shops and restaurants and a short walk to the beach, but somehow you don't get disturbed by noise. The hotel also runs a free minibus to their private beach club which is next to the Blue Lagoon - definitely worth a visit (although your drinks and food are not all inclusive here). We went on a couple of day trips to the market at Fethiye and on a boat trip (again highly recommend). There's also paragliding and the cable car for the more adventurous (we didn't do this but heard great things). The reps were really good at involving our 18 year old son, who enjoyed playing killer pool and various other activities, so big shout out to them all. We loved Sun City, the people of Olu Deniz and we would definitely return!

We had a lovely time here - our first holiday abroad after Covid. The positives: a large selection of food - all buffet but with some cooking stations at every meal with plenty of salads too. The marvellous lemon and sugar pancakes from the poolside restaurant. A great animation team including the absolutely marvellous Rose who was in charge of the children's club. Our 5 year old granddaughter relished spending time with her. The poolside sports team were great too. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Well done! We enjoyed the open air amphitheatre shows, especially the Turkish dancing and belly dancing when my granddaughter was encouraged to perform her version later on. The rooms had lots of storage. It was very easy to access the beach and other restaurants in the vicinity when you just needed a change. The lovely beach club by Blue Lagoon with free transport was lovely and peaceful. All the paragliders in the skies above the hotel and landing beachside were fascinating to watch. Things to improve: We would have preferred just B&B as we like to eat out, but on booking, this wasn't an option. The air con in our room didn't work. It was finally sorted out on the third time of asking. There was no melon or fresh fruit salad in the mornings until myself and other clients asked for it. That was strange for such a large hotel in the Med. The room was a bit dated but fairly clean, although the water didn't drain well. Overall, we would go back here as we had a great time.

Whilst we found the staff very pleasant and helpful the hotel itself was a little bit dated.The rooms were made up everyday but not to a high standard,the floors could do with a regular mop over as my feet got dirty quite quickly after getting out the shower,the problem masked by the dark tiles. The hotel is not a good choice if you have mobility issues,not all the blocks have lifts but the hotel has lots of steps.The swimming pool only has ladders to access entry in the water which can be difficult if you are disabled. However there were plenty of sunbeds and parasols available. The hotel food was OK but staying for 2 weeks it can get a bit repetitive, there are plenty of places to eat outside the complex but they are not particularly cheap. Nice friendly minibus driver takes you to the beach on the free shuttle bus. Evening entertainment very hit and miss,some nights good others not so much. Overall not bad but not 4star in my opinion.

We were very impressed with Suncity hotel and would stay again. When we first arrived I was disappointed with our room as it was very outdated and old fashioned and in need of some improvement. However it was very clean and it was cleaned every day. Kids bed was higher then our bed. So I was a little concerned. However in the morning when we went outside I couldn’t be happier. Beautiful views all around, very friendly and helpful staff. Good choice of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Always Very tasty grilled meat, big selection of salads and overall we could always find something we liked. Good coffee and good selection of tea. Very good entertainment team, kids club and evening entertainment, Turkish baths and massage were amazing. So many things we’ve enjoyed in the hotel that we didn’t even go out for the first couple of days. Would definitely recommend for families and we do look forward coming back to the hotel again.

Hotel was very clean, We where in a ground floor room did not hear any noise from the above floors which is very nice. The assistant bathroom we had was just right for my wife only one thing wrong could have done with a mop in the room to get rid of water from shower as it made using the toilet a bit wet !! But we managed. All staff very helpful and friendly. Good time had by all.

Staff and service are excellent. Grounds are beautiful and everything is spotlessly clean . Food is not bad and drinks are Ok. Our grandchildren loved the dance shows.Fridge and tea and coffee in room very welcome. Nuray was so helpful with everything.

Hotel was very nice always clean and in a great location close to the main strip. Food was good always lots to choose from although did miss the bacon and sausages in the morning but still plenty to choose from. The only fault to find was in the bathroom the shower was in the bath and the bath was very high to get into so was quite dangerous really. The entertainment was not very good dont know if this was due to the time of year but could have been better. On the whole though it was a nice holiday.

I had a fantastic holiday at sun city hotel room and cleaning staff were very good couldn’t fault the food very good choice every day jet 2 reps were very good and helpful Just a shame I became ill and ended up in hospital at the end of my holiday and spent 7 Weeks in there and again jet 2 rep crept in touch with me the hole time I was in hospital.Overall had a very good holiday thank you jet2.

We have just returned from a 14 nights stay at Sun City. The hotel was lovely, very friendly staff and great location. We did eat out a few times because restaurants are lovely, however the food was very good with a great choice.
