This was our first time staying at the aquasis hotel, we were also visiting family that live in Didim. The hotel is beautiful, amazing facilities, you could spend the whole holiday on site if you wanted to. Very well maintained and the room we stayed in was a sea view, and it was an amazing view. We were on the 3rd floor.
Food - Great selection of different foods and accommodating for even the pickiest eaters. The patisserie was a favourite for a nice coffee and a cake. There are 3 different eating places inside to choose from, including an adults only room.
Pool - the pool was lovely, a bit on the cold side, but we did go at the beginning of April so you’d expect that with the time of year. Brilliant facilities for younger children including a children’s pool with mini slides. The big slides were really good, sometimes queues but went down quickly. There were always sunbeds free, even late afternoon, so no need to rush out at 7am to get one.
Snack bars - there are two snack bars, one near the main pool and the other down towards the beach. Both are very good if you are wanting jacket potatoes, chicken wings, burgers, chips etc rather than a main meal in the restaurant. These are open all day.
A la carte - we went to the Turkish one and it was amazing, service was impeccable, we sat with a view facing the sea at sunset and it couldn’t have been more picturesque. We would definitely recommend.
Shops on site - there is a supermarket on site for essentials, prices wise it is what you’d expect, they take pounds, euro and lira, but prefer pounds due to the conversion rate. There is also a handbag shop and a perfume shop, I got a few bits from them and for fakes, they were good quality.
Now the bits they could work on - the evening entertainment wasn’t great. They had a fire show on which started at 9.45 that lasted half an hour, then people we walking around wondering what to do after that. It would be better to have comedy shows or music/magic shows that lasted a bit longer, or at least entertainment that lasted a few hours so it wasn’t all done and dusted by 10.30pm.
The children’s entertainment starts at 9pm, which is quite late for kids entertainment to start, although the kids entertainment was very good and the entertainers were fantastic and a credit to the hotel.
So that’s basically it, an open and honest review. Would we return? Yes, absolutely, the staff were all fantastic and all seemed to enjoy being there, always upbeat and polite. well done!

Best holiday
08 Aug 2022
We had swim up room. It was cleaned every day. Massive pools and lots of bars and restaurants. Beautiful beach. Clean clear sea water. Water sports, diving lessons, pool games and entertainment. Pool party. Food is good. Lots of choices. All family had turkish bath and massage. I took my drone with me to fly it above the resort but couldn't as it is not allowed. The security came immediately and told us that due to being close to Greece border the drone it can be put down due to security reasons.

Fantastic holiday
19 Jul 2022
The staff were always smiling and pleased to be at your beck and call. The food and drinks were top class and always varied. The facilities for children could be judged by the screams of delight. Absolutely no negatives.
And a special thank you to our Virgin guide who put a smile on all our faces, was always helpful and a pleasure to be with.

Mixed Views - But overall great holiday
13 Jul 2022
We spent 7 days at this resort in May 2022. We had a one bed swim up room which was lovely and very clean and spacious. The mini bar included in the room was a great touch but the lack of an iron was disappointing. (Luckily we took a travel iron as ironing via the hotel was an expense we would not be happy to pay for)
The resort itself is spotless and the staff clear plates and glasses almost instantly. I am sure this is the reason there are no flies/ birds or wasps around as they don't stand a chance!
Food -The food was ok and we always found something in the buffet but be prepared for chaos of the food hall people were rude pushing in and it was rather off putting.
The best place for lunch is the mexican near the beach it has a limited buffet but pizzas made fresh and burgers and chips, spaghetti ect.
Drinks for the children and during the day were fine but the cocktail selection was not great they are very weak and many taste the same. I ended up sticking to soft drinks as I got sick of the cocktails.
Resort wise - slides are great and the pools are the best we have experienced. Cold to get in but thats what you want when its 30 degrees plus. Take inflatables from home if you can to save money as the shop is expensive.
Location - we got a taxi into town 3 nights to eat out (highly recommend Topkapi - they will even pick you up and return for free. The owners are the nicest people and great food and drinks)
Entertainment - The daytime entertainment team made our holiday - even the cheesy wannabe rapper who I think is in charge, but it was all in good fun and my kids really enjoyed the days activities. The evenings are rather boring except the fire show other than that lots of dancing acts.
As I said overall a good holiday but i would not return as for the price we have stayed in much nicer resorts with more to offer and better quality food and drink.

Great week
16 Jun 2022
My partner and I and my Dad & his partner stayed here, for 1 and 2 weeks respectively.
The food in the main buffet restaurant was good and had plenty of variety. We left it too late to book into an a la carte so can't comment on those.
The hotel itself doesn't have much in easy walking distance but there are buses that pick up at the hotel and it isn't too expensive to get a taxi to the market or shopping areas, other beaches. Most of the drinks lion offer were decent (white Russian was dreadful though, tasted like paraffin, yuck) and the service was good.
Entertainment team were good fun and not pushy.
Good selection of water slides.
We didn't spend any time at the beach but wandered down to the pier and the water looked lovely and clear, with a good view of the fishes.
I wouldn't recommend the on-site photographers, most of the shots weren't great, often missing the sun out of the sunset photo shoot! And when agreed to send us an electronic version of the photos we had paid for, they sent them in an email that expired 3 days later, to my Dad who was still there and didn't realise until he got home and it was too late. He emailed them and never received a reply, once they have your money they don't care. Didn't use the spa or indoor pool but had a quick look and the indoor pool was very dark and noisy with children. We got a decent deal through Jet 2 (who had some of the most pleasant staff I've encountered on holidays) and I would recommend this hotel but I wouldn't go twice as there are many more places we want to see. We stayed in a lake house room (not swim up) so we didn't get much of a view or a lot of sunshine on our balcony, but let's face it you don't go on a sunshine holiday to sit on your balcony. It seemed more peaceful than the main complex (apart from one drunk couple having a roaring match after the club closed)..

Aquasis
15 Jun 2022
Went for short break end of May, on arrival at 4am, due to a problem with the flight, had been upgraded to an executive suite, unfortunately there was no third bed so our daughter spent the first night on a couch, but quickly rectified next day. Suite was very spacious, huge balcony with sun beds and chairs, great on an evening. Hotel complex is very large but this meant it never felt crowded, either around the pools or by the private beach. Only used the Main buffet restaurant so cannot comment on a la carte, but choice of food in main restaurant was excellent, really don’t understand how people complain about it. Whole complex was clean and tidy, staff were helpful and friendly throughout, special mention for Yousef in the Ekin part of the restaurant who went out of his way to make everyone feel special, also the team at the water sports who were great when the wife and daughter went parasailing, would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, one tip, if going into Didim, ask them to call the bus, costs about £2 each way for three people and the dolmas inspector, who we chanced upon when trying to get back, was incredibly helpful and full of advice on places to visit nearby telling you which bus to get.

One of the best
15 Jun 2022
This was our first time to Turkey as a family and what a hotel.. simply the best by far.. everything that you need is inside the hotel and I mean everything.. but if you fancy a day out in the town of Didim taxi’s are plentiful and cheap..

Fab time
01 Oct 2020
Just back a weeks all inclusive to aquasis deluxe in turkey with my hubby. Had a fantastic time start to finish. We had a really lazy week so didn’t even bother booking any of the a la carte options. The swimming pools were amazing. We took a massage package from the spa of 3 massages each which were great. Only fault I had (which wasn’t much) was the length of time check in took.
