Can Garden Resort

I went with my family and it was amazing. I wouldn’t say it’s a 5 star resort as there was no iron in hotels and the rooms weren’t to 5* standard however the rooms are great and the staff are very helpful and nice. The beach was a 10 minute was and there are buses close by going to side and Manavgat. I absolutely loved my holiday and would return next year. There’s also a bazaar which is an 8 min walk. The food was nice with a great variety.

An excellent all inclusive hotel, situated about 14km from Side (easy access on Dolmus), and very cheap. Very clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful, and always friendly. Excellent choice of food at all meals, and good choice of drinks.

Great clean tidy hotel - all you can ask for, with great food choices. Good drinks available. Bar staff and dining room staff very welcoming, inc day manager always taking time to great and make conversation. Downside very much a German tourist orientated area and hotel, so British visitors will be a minority and you will experience the usual traits of our German friends lol.Animation team try their best but poorly organised, evening entertainment was grim, but did find Neno particularly friendly and likes to play cards.Hotel is 10min walk from nice sandy beach, where there are facilities available food n drink etc Overall though great place and happy to go back

Excellent service and food very good. Very nice family room. We had a great holiday here and we would one day return. An overall great holiday experience. Side old city is a must see and you can get there by bus for as little as 8TL each return, which was about £2.00

when we arrived we were taken to our room, which i thought looked nothing like the brochure it was a lot smaller, when my aunt arrived and was shown her room it was certainly a lot different to ours, it was then my aunt noticed that the room we were in was for a person with disabilities, the shower was very small and not at all powerful, apart from that everything else was ok for the 10 nights we were there.The food in the hotel was really nice and was presented in lovely displays and was very plentyfullThe hotel was spotless and our room was cleaned every day all be it sometimes after 4pmThe staff i found were very nice but a lot could not understand english, they seemed to prefer the russains or eastern europeans, prime example of this was when my husband went a got me a fresh orange juice and was asked for a euro, the 3 people behind him were given their juice and waved on and not charged the reception staff were very friendly and helpful as were all the staff really apart from 1 who worked in the restaurant and sometimes down at the beach food and drink place he always seemed to growl at you.the bus down to the beach every day was packed but once you were there it was lovely and the man who shows you to your loungers was lovely he would come round and clear the sand off them and collect you empty cupsOverall the hotel is a really lovely hotel and i would really like to take my grandsons there for a holiday

This is the first review I have ever done on a hotel, but following the excellent stay that my wife and I have just experienced I felt moved to pass on our views.Having experienced many 5 star hotels on both Long Haul and Europe this hotel is up with any that we have stayed in , especially when you consider the money we paid. The staff were without exception extremely friendly and could not do enough for you,the food was extremely comprehensive In choice and quality, if anything it was to good, on our return home all we wanted was some plain bacon butties/ fish and Chips.Rooms were of a high standard, the only criticism was having only one UK Chanel to view. The pools were great, the quiet and noisy sides were at opposite sides of the hotel, giving you a great choice for your individual requirements. The sea can be reached by hotel's own bus or by a pleasant walk and once again facilities there were first class. If I did have a complaint about the Can Garden is the fact that WiFi is chargeable which in this day and age is something that needs to be afdressad. Overall truly recommend stay

the hotel was attended mainly by holidaymakers from germany which is fine if you know prior to booking the staff are excellent the food is excellent and hot and the entertainment was quite good the down side towels on sun beds first thing in the morning and left all day while the owners go to the beach this needs to be stopped

Had a lovely family holiday here. Staff very friendly and helpful, food great - something for everyone! Weather fantastic, in fact would go back tomorrow! One of our party was an adult with autism, and he had the best holiday he's had anywhere, the staff went out if their way to help him, and the other guests (mainly English and German) were the friendliest bunch we've met anywhere

Can Garden Resort is a lovely hotel. The food stood out. It is simply sumptuous. Our room was Ok but a bit small and seemed smaller than the photo on the website depicted. At the time of our visit the hotel was (unsurprisingly as summer) totally full and the pools were a little small for the hotel population and our experience was partially spoiled by 1). people reserving recliners from before 8 am and yet spending very little time by the pool so that genuine users could not get a look in 2). So many people smoking around (and even in!) the pool. There should be a non-smoking policy as it is a family hotel.The staff were generally wonderful and warm, especially in the main dining rooms and beach restaurant and housekeeping but some of the younger reception staff were unhelpful, uninterested and unapproachable. Some of the staff working on the bars were similar also. The evening entertainments were excellent but were totally unadvertised and when we asked reception to tell us the name of a Russian acrobatic troop that was out of this world they had no idea at all.

A nice hotel, appears a bit confusing when you first arrive but you soon find your way around (more confusing because different family members where in a different blocks). Pool was nice, not to deep and had the "relax" pool and the "entertainment" pool. Couple of slides available and activities like water polo, water gym etc run through the day. Entertainment was provided, bingo, dancing etc and small number of stalls set up round pool one of the nights. Plenty of shaded areas and umbrellas available and we didnt have any issues with getting sunbeds. Food was ok, plenty of choice even for a fussy eater like me, choice of restaurant, snack bar or beach bar for lunch. Beach was nice, very helpful man keeping the sunbeds clean. Short walk or shuttle bus to get there, steps down from beach bar but water, orange and apple juice available actually on the beach. Only issue, wish I'd been aware of how close the hotel was to the mosque so I could have taken earplugs to avoid the early morning wake up call to pray (5.20am!!!)

Staff were excellent, hotel spotless, food excellent. Lovely beach and no issues getting sunbeds on beach or at hotel. Paid Wi-Fi was mostly fine. Usual entertainment, good interaction between staff and guests.

The hotel was very nice rooms large and airy good sized bathroom very clean food very nice. Pool areas both good especially the large relax pool. The beach is lovely and was clean the only downside to the beach is the fact that the beach bar is up quite a few steps . When we stayed the majority of guest where Germans which didn't bother us as everyone was friendly and pleasent. The only downside to this is that a lot of the staff don't speak a lot of English so sometimes difficult to communicate requests, but all the staff where very pleasent and the cleaning staff where very helpful. We had a great holiday but if you are looking for a party type hotel this would not suit you and maybe there would not be enough going on for teenagers. But it is very easy to walk to a couple of bars or catch a bus into Said where there are lots of bars and restraints.

Good clean well maintained hotel from rooms to restaurants etc. The only downside could be the location if you expect more shops / bars & restaurants for a change, although a short cheap mini bus (dolmus) gets you to more lively parts of the Side area. This area is predominately more European than British so goods & gifts are priced in euros (do not confuse as Turkish lira) this could be costly. Did not find the fact of being more European a problem as this was a nice change from the more Brit based Turkish resorts. Enjoyed our trip we have re booked a longer stay next year. Added bonus only a short distance (walk or shuttle) to the beach if do not want to be around the two pools which also has a restaurant.
