Best Los Angeles & PortAventura Theme Park

This hotel has been recently refurbished (at least the half Jet2 put you in) and as such is modern, clean and really well looked after. On our drop off this was the last popular but freshest hotel! Go figure.... The food was an eclectic mix that caters for the very international guests at the hotel. It takes a few days to get your bearings but there is more than something for everyone. There is always a massive variety of salad, breads, veg, chips etc. then the live cooking to order, pasta, pizzas and the specialty of the day section. Stopped here for 10 nights with my wife and 2 girls room was nice clean but the air con was shocking rooms were like saunas on a night food most meat was undercooked many times had to take meat back undercooked i.e pork and chicken food was Luke warm or cold on a regular basis pool area was not the cleanest but ok location spot on no problems with that everything beach bars all in close proximity would I stay here again no do I recommend it not really don't like writing bad reviews on hollidays but this was abit of a let down for a 4 star hotel

Stayed for 11 nights in August. 2 adults and 2 children. Family room had 2 double beds and a wetroom. Rooms cleaned well daily and towels replaced. Food choice was good. I did enjoy the omlettes and pancakes at breakfast and then the food at the end cooking stations for dinner and tea so it was made infront of me and hot. Location wise few minutes .walk from beach and about 20 min walk to porta ventura theme park. We had a room at back off hotel on 2nd floor so had no noise issues. Staff good. Daniel was good at getting people involved with the day activities around pool. Bus service to Tarragona good. Would recommend a visit to see the roman sites there. Did Cambrills on glass bottom boat on market day to pass a few hours. map from reception in hotel has all the fountain and points of interest on and all within walking distance. Miles of paths to walk next to the beaches. Chaplins across road proved very popular with parents with younger children for there shows. Shows in hotel ok. Not a show every night. If its the in house team its just bingo. Porta ventura was very busy. Got the 3 day theme park access included with hotel. On 2nd vidit paid extra 29 euros each to get the fast pass to save queues.

We booked to stay at this hotel for 1 week with our 12 year old daughter on half board basis along with our friends. I was pleasantly surprised with our room which was very modern and clean. I felt the beds a little uncomfortable as the mattresses were very firm. Only downside was that our balcony was above the bins at the back of hotel so there was a bit of an odour. This didn't bother us too much though as we didn't spend any time out on it. The food on offer was fantastic, there was a huge variety of food to choose from at both breakfast and dinner and service was great. The hotel has a couple of various size pools around it at different parts and a small play area too for young kids. The hotel offers quite a variety of entertainment for all ages which we thoroughly enjoyed. This hotel is a short walk from bus stop around the corner to travel to Portaventura etc or there is a great little train that provides a Hop on Hop off service and takes you all around salou. There is also a huge variety of shops, bars and restaurants surrounding the hotel and a beautiful beach within walking distance. I was under the impression that this was a 3 star hotel but when I got there I noticed that it is actually listed as a 4 star and so we had to pay the higher rate of tax, however I would definitely stay again.

I stayed at this hotel in mid July with my partner and two children. It had a great choice of food at the buffet and two pool areas. Staff were friendly and the hotel was immaculate. It is well situated for the resort and beach and has a burgerking just around the corner for a treat for the kids. I would definitely stay here again. We lived it.

The Staff was friendly and very helpful, the pool was lovely as well, entrainment was more for children that the older generation and the food could had been a bit warmer. Our stay was lovely and the room was excellent

The location of the hotel is spot on beach / shops only 5/10 minute walk when you go out of hotel turn left and left again go to roundabout and go left this way the walk is flat.to the centre and beach HOTEL GOO POINTS Location good very clean beds and towels changed daily .Pool is ok choice of 2 lots of sunbeds . HOTEL BAD POINTS Food was tepid every day / night choice is poor and I would say 2 star standard There are 5 bars opposite that can get noisy at night try and stay away from pool view rooms as these are the noisy rooms especially if you have children. THE RECEPTION STAFF ARE VERY IGNORANT AND CHECK IN TOOK AGES THE SAFE COST 35 EURO FOR 7 NIGHTS PLUS 10 EURO DEPOSIT WHICH YOU GOT BACK BAR STAFF ARE FINE ENTERTAINMENT STAFF GOOD.ENTERTAINTMENT AT NIGHT WAS AVERAGE ON THE WHOLE WOULD WOULD NOT GO ALL INCLUSIVE THE HOTEL IS NICE TO LOOK AT BUT STAFF ON RECEPTION AND FOOD SPOIL THE EXPERIENCE I WOULD PROBABLY NOT RETURN

very clean hotel, the staff very friendly, they were 8 of us all had a great time, the food was very nice overall good hotel in a great place.The only thing could do with mattress on the sunbeds they were so uncomfortable . The pools were very nice could do with more sunbeds
