Hotel TRH Mijas

Lovely clean hotel, typically Spanish. Staff friendly and helpful. Food very good with a wide selection. Great location in Mijas Pueblo, just a 5 minute walk to the centre of the village where there are plenty of bars and tapas restaurants.

Ideal Location in the pueblo only 5 minutes walk to the centre of the village. Reception staff (Jose & Daniel) very helpful, nothing too much trouble. Bed rooms, especially superior to a very high standard with balconies overlooking the pool or fuengerola and the Med. Breakfast superb with full range of hot and cold buffet. Visited 3 times in 23 and same planned for 24

The best parts of our stay were the breakfasts and the view from the balcony. Very helpful staff but, sadly the carpets in the room were stained and in need of TLC. The bed had a "memory foam" mattress which we didn't find comfortable.

Location is perfect, a few minutes walk and your in the village square. Mijas is a stunning place. The hitel needs a but of updating, there was a problem with the air conditioning, staff informed that they were waiting on a part to get it fixed, however the air con units in the room were very old and dated. Staff did provide us with a fan, but did not seem happy at my request for one. We stayed half board but ate out 3 nights of our 5 night stay. Little choice of food, and food generally just lukewarm. Despite my moaning, I would return, pool area and gardens were very clean as was the hotel. We did go out most evenings. There is a lovely bar in the hotel for a late night cap.

Great location and area to stay as a base. amazing views. We hired a car for 3 days. Went to Gibraltar, Puerto Banus and a few other places. Breakfast ok but would advise against half board. Evening meal absolutely diabolical. Such a shame and the only thing that lets this great hotel down. Staff helpful and friendly etc etc! Would definitely be back but only on b&b basis!

Great location, great views..hotel is beautiful older style and quirky, lovely clean pool area with plenty of sun loungers, we upgraded to a suite for more space and the bathroom was huge!! Beds weren't too comfy but that was my only complaint, kettle in suites but not in other rooms which I thought was odd, but a bonus for us, great toiletries in the room too but not sure again if that was just the suites.

Our room, 89, was nice however the beds were incredibly hard and the rooms would, as many other people have mentioned, benefit from sound proofing as we could write clearly hear TV noise, conversations etc. Breakfast was fine, reasonable choice and fair quality. Dinner however really was quite poor. We had only paid an extra £100 to upgrade for 11 nights, so it wasn't too bad and we did still eat out a fair bit. If we'd paid the full rate of €18 per person I would have requested a refund. I also had concerns about hygiene and cross contamination from an allergens perspective, this does need to be addressed. In all other aspects the hotel was quite lovely, a little tired in certain areas but generally charming. The location is excellent and is it's main attraction. We would stay again but only for a few nights on room only basis.

The TRH Mijas Hotel is the most amazing hotel. From the moment you arrive to the point you sadly check out the professional staff will do their utmost to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as is possible. The rooms are cleaned daily with clean towels where needed and are extremely comfortable. The food is wide and varied and is so fresh. The pool area is as spotless as the rest of the hotel and pool snacks are freshly made at a very reasonable price. The hotel is situated a short stroll from the centre of this beautiful unspoiled village with dozens of restaurants if you decide not to book half board.

wonderful scenery, good facilities, lovely pool, great selection at breakfast. Clean. Nice bar. Nice fair size rooms . In walking distance of mijas centre ( 10 mins). Friendly staff. Helpful reception staff
