Hotel Benalmadena Beach

From the time we arrived til we left 7 days later the hotel was everything we could have asked for, after a very stressful last 6 months we booked this hotel after reading reviews, and it didn’t disappoint it was very relaxing, booking sun beds on the beach was very easy and always seemed to be plenty of sun beds round the pool, we stayed B&B and the breakfast was perfect plenty of choice and always fresh, location was perfect with the Marina a 15 minute walk away but the thing that made it was the chill out bar what a treat that was, excellent entertainment and something different every night, all staff in the hotel were attentive and friendly would highly recommend, the only down side was the road unless you are on the front, the road noise was constant didn’t bother us too much x

A lovely hotel with so many daily activities Pilates, Yoga, Aqua Aerobics, kids mini club and in the evening mini club disco, cocktail classes including free tasting and melon served around the pool in the afternoons. A free allocation of two loungers and umbrella on the beach (which saves €12 per day) for an allocated time and nightly entertainment on the rooftop bar area. You can pay for treatments at the hotel Spa. The many food choices cater for everyone and even a chocolate fountain! Whilst dining a pianist playing popular music and some nights single flowers are given to the guests. The only slightly strange thing is the room layout. The hand basins are in the bedrooms, not in the bathroom, so felt that hygiene is slightly compromised regarding using the loo then opening the door and going into the bedroom/hallway area to wash hands. That was the only negative thing. But apparently this hotel was build for Thomas Cook just before they went bust, so not the fault of the current hotel owners. The staff do their utmost for the guests, always friendly and helpful. We had a great holiday. I would highly recommend.

We stayed here for a week and apart from the sand storms and awful weather we had a brilliant stay in this lovely hotel. The hotel was very clean and the buffet style food was very varied and appetising. All staff were friendly and attentive from the Manager Hugo who took time to speak to us to waiters/bar staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will hopefully return again soon and hopefully enjoy better weather.
