Albir Garden Resort & Aquapark

Very clean apartment. Bathroom looked like it had been refurbished with lovely walk in shower that was nice and powerful. Rest of the room needed a bit of a refurb - furniture and paintwork a bit scuffed in places. Microwave looked brand new. Room overlooked the road and was quite noisy at night. I would think a pool view room would be quieter. Pool area looked nice. Would imagine young families would enjoy the water slides. We didn't use it as we were just on a short 3 night trip visiting family who live in Albir. Brilliant bus service with stop right outside the hotel where you can catch bus to Benidorm and Altea. Only 1.65 euros. Also noticed a couple of taxis always parked outside if prefer to travel that way. Walk to beach only 10 mins and can walk for miles along the sea front. However, if you are looking for a sandy beach don't choose Albir as its a pebble beach. Lots of cafes and restaurants in town. Can recommend one called Sunrise - very varied menu - great food and lovely staff. Big supermarket literally opposite the hotel has everything you would need. Also a Lidl 5 mins walk away.

We stayed in room K312 with an excellent view of the mountains and pool. The room was basic but comfortable, and amply equipped. The beds did move and make noise every time I turned over, which was a bit of a nuisance. The hotel/resort is modern and welcoming. What really stands out is the excellent location. You are close enough to Benidorm that you can enjoy the hustle and bustle, then return to somewhere peaceful. Also, it’s very close to Altea if you wanted somewhere even more Spanish. Albir itself is quaint and has lots of cheap shops/eateries. We didn’t eat here, so I cannot comment on this but it looked like the place would be excellent during the on-season. I highly recommend this hotel/resort for anybody.

Hotel name stated Hotel Abir Garden Resort - when we arrived their Hotel sign said Hotel Albir Garden Resort Bike and Sports - when we checked in we were surrounded by cycling short clad men and women - must of been over 1 100 guests alogn with their cycles - then we we greeted by the international football clubs under 19 from accross the world - however despite the unexpected - we found the hotel clean and tidy - the food was fine - the waiters respectfull and polite - overall we enjoyed the holiday but didnt expect the bikers and footballers

I returned from my holiday on 12th October but I would like to make a complaint about my holiday it was our first ever family holiday abroad so I wanted to make it the best I possibly could so after loads of searches online I come across jet2holidays I done some background searches and looked at loads of reviews and they was all mostly positive so then searched for a holiday that looked amazing so went and booked it and because it was our first holiday I thought I want to make it the best so went for the all-inclusive and then when looking at the rooms decided to upgrade the room the flight over was good was a nice short flight for our first flight travel agents at the airport and on board was great and helpful and the transfer at the other end was great when we arrived at the hotel we booked in was good lady showed us on the map where our apartment was and so off we went when we got to our apartment we was very disappointed it was nothing like the upgraded room on your website it was just like the standard apartment just green instead of orange so I went to speak to our jet2 lady and on my way I see the lady from reception showing another family all the way to their apartment not sure why they had that special service we was just shown on the map. I spoke to the jet2 lady and explained I wasn't happy with my room as I upgraded my room and she had a look and said that she would raise a case and speak to reception and get us moved she went and spoke to reception but they said they was fully booked and couldn't move us but she would keep trying reception said apparently we was in a premium room which I'm sorry but I wasn't happy with compared to the photos it was a down grade not a upgrade please find photos of our room attached one wall was only half painted the soap in out room had fallen of the wall the aircon unit worked but was hanging off the wall and it was much smaller then it looked in the brochure

If you’re going to this hotel make sure you ask for 2 bedrooms if there’s 3 or 4 of you, one bedroom means that someone is going to be sleeping on an uncomfortable bed settee and if there’s 4 of you you’re not getting much sleep . The rooms are small and tired The splash park is good and the swimming pools are ample, unfortunately the entertainment area is not big enough inside for the amount of people and the outdoor entertainment seemed to be limited to Germans The location is about 30 minutes walk to the beach Would we go again? For the pool area and splash park yes otherwise we will give it a miss

Excellent hotel, very clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. Although was inclusive the apartment was very spacious, food was great with plenty of choice.

Great for families and getting around was easy by bus or by bike. Facilities were very clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. The apartment was a nice size for a family. The food was reasonable. Beach was about a 15 minute walk.

Had a lovely time at the Albir Garden Resort. Stayed 6 nights. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which had everything you need, very clean although a little dated. Water park was fantastic for granddaughter. Restaurant as typical all inclusive buffet style. Bars were great with top of the range drinks included in price. 15 Min walk to beach and lovely bars and restaurants nearby.

Accommodation dated and very uncomfortable. When it states pull out sofa bed what it means is a couch and a mattress on the floor. Bad food, no entertainment and rude Spanish guests. Hotel is overrun with football camp kids who are left unsupervised in the apartments. They are noisy, rude and disrespectful to holiday makers. When mentioned to reception about the kids shouting and banging doors they were disinterested. Pools and snack bar were the only good thing about this resort. We are not fussy eaters and like a busy resort bit this was definitely not worth the money we paid for it. Very disappointed and would not return to this hotel.

After reading some reviews about this place I was worried but much to my surprise I had a good week. The negatives are the accommodation needs to be updated . And people leaving all their rubbish around for the staff to clear up even though there are plenty of bins around this was adults.... The children at times in the dinner hall would double dip spoons into food which I can't stand bbut again down to parents not keeping an eye on their children. The pros are the food was fresh and changed everyday there was always something different on offer the accommodation was cleaned everyday and staff were fantastic very helpful.

We stayed here for a week. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Pool area was 👍. The food was plenty with lots of choices even though my teenager was not keen on it but he survived. The accommodation was clean (could do with updating) and maid did a good job. The only downside to this holiday was the evening entertainment which is rubbish and mean rubbish and very repetitive...same crap every evening. Alcohol was plentiful. We have been here two years running and will not be going again (2nd stay was more enjoyable).

The toilets near swimming pool where always dirty Meals , i would give the buffet meal 5/10 Kids activities not as described on the website The water was not very clean as my kids got some sort of infection when we return home I would say the sofa beds are not the most comfortable thing
