Oura View Beach Club

Just returned from 8 nights at this hotel. Gorgeous views from the balcony, rooms a bit dated although the hotel is undergoing refurbishment. This does mean some noise but it wasn’t too bad. The hotel is at the end of the Strip & there were lots of Stag & Hen parties. Unfortunately, some of them were quite noisy when coming back in the early hours. Also, if you book half board, this means bed, breakfast & lunch, NOT an evening meal. Some guests were not aware of this & ended up spending money they hadn’t budgeted for on food in the evening. The issue for me was the lack of cleaning of the rooms. They classify themselves as a 5 star hotel, but the rooms are not cleaned every day. They say they are cleaned every 2 days, between 9am & 6pm, but during our 8 days, the sheets & towels were only changed once & im pretty sure the apartment was only cleaned once or twice. We like to have a rest in the afternoon, but the housekeeping staff didn’t appear until between 5 & 5.30, to empty the rubbish, so we couldn’t really relax until they’d been. Lovely restaurant down by the beach - Vivaldo’s. Definitely worth a visit. All in all, not sure if I’d go back to this hotel.

Great flight and hotel experience, however transfer was nearly 2 hours and delay in getting our luggage. Hotel had great facilities and was very clean and tidy. Great flight times from East Midlands. Would visit here and will use jet2 holidays again.

Excellent position, Brilliant pools with lush green shaded areas, fantastic hotel with very large rooms with everything you need....what more do you want for a great holiday?...Go on book it! If you're self catering go to 'Vivaldo's' on the beach front through the hotel gate near the kids pool, lovely breakfast with a beautiful sea view...and you get 20% off your evening meal! Also the Chinese restaurant next door is brilliant and won't break the bank. Happy hour 4-5 at the pool bar, drinks half price! enjoy.

The Hotel Website says its 5* Jet say it's 4* but the room's and food choice is around 3*, the.pool area looks 5* the restaurant looks nice but the food choice each night was basically the same and not what I would call 4 or 5 * staff friendly hotel clean and tidy, but rooms are just basic and looked 3* max.

The location is very good and the team as well! I recommend this hotel if your target is really take a rest and have great time. Also, if you can make the parasailing, it is just amazing. Several ohter places which can be visited: Monchique source, Silves castle, Meia Praia, the "end of the world": Sagres...

The stay was enjoyable & relaxing. Magnificent views & apartment was more than adequate. Unfortunately the staff in the restaurant was completely rude & obnoxious. They may already have the 5* status but their rudeness could have ruined our holiday. To keep their 5* they need manners!!

The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of wardrobe space. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed including an iron. The pool area was very clean with plenty of sun beds although you needed to get there early as it was very popular. The hotel is in a great location with direct access to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the strip
