At the end of Hvar Town's main square is St Stephen's Cathedral. Built between the 16th and 17th centuries, it's a good example of the Dalmatian Renaissance style. It includes a pair of 15th century bas-reliefs and elements of a 14th-century Gothic church. It also houses a mummy said to be the remains of Saint Prosper.
