Pamukkale

Pamukkale

This translates as ‘cotton castle’ in Turkish and has been used as a spa location since the second century BC. The hot springs have a very high mineral content and calcium content has formed the snowy-white cliffs. There’s an entrance fee, but swimming in the warm waters amongst Roman ruins is unforgettable.
