Santana Hotel Malta

Having stayed here for many years and enjoyed each and every stay No problem with the room or domestic staff Food choices moved direction from a good variety reduced to curries and such like with one English choice. The same under or overcooked choice of two vegetables every day. Bar prices high served by inefficient staff , also attempted charges for unordered drinks. Entertainment poor quality compared to that provided in the past Management response sorry we have new staffing. I know that they have moved to a nearby hotel. A very disappointed experience not to be repeated. Already booked for November 2025 in a nearby hotel along with other previous Santana guests.

Great hotel, good location. We had a family room it was very spacious . Breakfast loads to choose from but baked beans cold everyday . 2 different eggs everyday Evening meal loads to choose from staff in restaurant very friendly and polite. Room cleaned everyday to very good standard will definitely return . Pool had loads of bed and wasn’t too cold

We were very disappointed with this hotel, reasonably comfortable and clean, but the restaurant was not good at all, the food was invariably cold and there was not enough choice. Bar staff were good though.

On arrival at the hotel we were informed that all inclusive didn’t start till after 14:00hours and were told if we wanted any food to go down the street and pay at a restaurant we were never informed you could get food at the bar inside the hotel. The bar staff would take your order and bring it to the table which is fine except on occasions during our trip they would take our order and forget us so after 40 minutes we had to question where our drinks were they then informed us they forgot and would get to us again - we decided to leave and go elsewhere Food was hit and miss the entire trip and selection wasn’t great. Room was clean and tidy with plenty of space and majority of staff are helpful and friendly and the cleaners worked hard Just a shame a few disturbances to do with food and service can ruin a holiday - this is our second trip the hotel and unfortunately now we would not ever return.
