great hotel for being central but don,t expect quality food ! still worth booking half board as it gives you a option of somewhere to eat when the towns to busy at peak season also good clean small swimming pool to cool you off after a hard day touring

Great location and friendly staff. We were half board and I enjoyed the food - there were 4 main course choices every night so always something to choose. If you want a fancy upmarket restaurant then don't go half board (but be prepared to pay a lot for it in Sorrento). I felt that some rooms were better than others - we had no balcony and our air con was only just adequate. We were on the ground floor which could get noisy as it was close to reception. However its location and nice pool made this a good value for money hotel. Staff were good too - we had a late flight and only arrived about 10.30pm but as we were half board they made a meal for us.

Great location but the food was poor with tiny weeny helpings. The staff were friendly and the bar was Ok. The room was small and tired but it had a very large balcony with sun loungers which saved the day. No real complaints as was OK for our trip but would not stay here again as shower tiny, food poor, mould in room, fridge did not work, quite noisy at night due to other guests. If you stay here ask for room on top floor so you get the huge balcony. Would like to be able to recommend as staff very friendly and helpful but can not for reasons given.

Excellent value. Roberto and staff brilliantl and couldn’t fault the food. Plus, in a great location with everything in walking distance. Slight road noise but didn’t find it a problem. Would recommend.

Excellent location - a short walk to everything including the bars, restaurants if needed and the marinas. People were all very friendly and especially in the restaurant where they went above and beyond to accommodate us. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

The hotel I think should be 3 star. The food was ok. The hotel is very central, clean and the staff are lovely. Facilities were good. We were in a room at the front on the main road and didnt feel it interrupted our sleep at all.

A traditional style hotel that was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is in a great location at the end of the main shopping street with all amenities within easy reach. Our room was spacious and clean and had a very large balcony which had a table, chairs and sunbeds on which was great. The pool area was very nice and it was easy to find a sunbeds when you wanted one. The restaurant was very good with really friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast had a good choice of food with all the usual continental items plus scrambled eggs and sausage. The evening meal offered three choices for each course and the food was always very good. If you are a fussy eater then the limited choice may not be for you but if not it is fine.

Great hotel ideally situated for a city break. Meals were great and I think some people must be expecting English food from their disappointing food reviews. The meals were typically Italian and the food was plentiful however, the vegetables selection was a little strange. The pool was ideal after a busy day walking and sightseeing

The hotel is well located and close to the train/bus station for getting about in the area. The room was simple, very clean and well maintained. Meals were well cooked with a choice of three options for each course. The serving staff were excellent. I would have preferred a sitting area in the hotel with more comfortable chairs - there was plenty of such space, but the furniture was a bit formal, though of good quality. Our room was on the front of the hotel next to the main road, and there was some noise, although it was mainly subdued and didn't disturb unduly. Having said that, I am old and virtually stone deaf according to my friends. Overall, I liked it.

This hotel is perfectly located at the top end of the Corso Italia near to the main shopping and touurist areas of Sorrento. Staff are exceptionally friendly - there's definitely a family touch - you truly feel that the staff are dedicated to ensuring your every need is met. Although the pool area is compact - there was never an issue with finding a sunbed - but unsupervised children were a little problematic as Lacking respect for other guests. Overall however, a great experience and we are returning in August 2017.
