Hilton Sorrento Palace

We stayed at this hotel for 11 nights in early July on a B&B basis. The hotel is bright, modern and very clean. We had room 36 and it was huge, with a super king and 2 proper single beds (not put ups). The hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful. We spent most days by the pool, but the pool restaurant was very slow to take orders and serve (short staffed I think). However, the pool boys who offered sun lounger drinks/food service (in particular Giovanni and Rafeal) worked their socks off and were brilliant!! The pool temperature in our first week was perfect, but the 2nd week a little cooler (depends upon your personal preference), but again very clean and plenty of beds and umbrellas. Only downside is that the pool shuts at 7pm, when often you could happily lay out until a little longer. On the upside, food at the pool restaurant was fantastic. We went into Sorrento most nights to eat and didn't experience the in house entertainment. Highly recommend Franks Pizzia, Ikura Sushi (Chinese too) and il Pozzo Restaurant in Sorrento centre

It may be part of the Hilton Brand but all the staff are local, and some related, which adds local knowledge to the overall experience. Very attentive and would recommend. The Hotel is about a 10 min walk to the main square but that adds to the ambience. Great stay!

very clean hotel beautiful views across the bay to versuvious hotel on a slight hill nothing to tasking you can enter and leave hotel through the back gate which cuts a chunk of the hill out access via the hotel bar by reception easy to find bus/train station platform 3 goes from sorrento to naples stops at pompei

We loved the Hilton Sorrento Palace. From the moment we arrived we experienced excellent service from every single member of staff. The location was just right for us, a five minute walk into town meant that the hotel was relatively peaceful at night. The pool was lovely and our nine year old son spent most of the day in it. We would definately recommend and are considering staying there next summer. Pompeii well worth a visit!

The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Sorrento just 15 minutes walk into the centre. The view of Vesuvius from our bedroom window was just fantastic. Service in the bars and restaurants was always prompt. Even the room service was very efficient albeit the menu can be limited. Our only issues were; the sunbeds were not very comfortable and the air-conditioning in the room was not very effective on very hot days. Overall an excellent hotel that we would visit again..

The Sorrento Palace was an ideal location for us and had all the facilities we needed to keep adults and an energetic four year old happy for a week. The service was excellent including in the restaurant, bars, and pool side breakfast was a sight to behold with every taste catered for, the views from the restaurant were just spectacular and will remain with me for a long time. The pools and kids club were absolutely fantastic we all spent many happy hours there the staff especially in the kids club were exceptional and especially patient and attentive with our shy 4 year old by the end of the week she loved it. The room was spacious and very modern and well appointed the only problem was a lack of sound proofing which became apparent and disturbing when other guests were noisy and returning to their rooms at 3 am in the morning. The only other slight disappointment were the lack of showering facilities on our day of departure which was a late afternoon departure time internal showers were only available off the indoor pool and these were badly lit and flooded when used we were not able to negotiate a room extension as the hotel was busy showers in the out door poolside changing rooms would have made a big difference. That said we had a wonderful stay overall.
