Karras Grande Resort

This is our second time at Karras: My daughter and I booked a cheeky get away (4 nights), we returned after staying here last year. I would definitely say standards have slipped, the main change was staffing: the entertainment was a one man band, no aqua fit or activities during the day apart from volleyball. Last year entertainment was facilitated by 3 people. The hotel felt like they’d been a total cut back on staffing, lack of bar and restaurant staff. This was apparent when the pool wasn’t tidied on an evening, empty cups and litter was everywhere in the morning. Holiday makers including myself tidied up in the morning. Food - no fresh cooking stations. This was offered last year. No outside seating area, the outside area was filthy, really filthy! Food was ok, always plenty of salads. We ate out twice, there’s some amazing eatery’s in the area, don’t stay in just because it’s included! We also went out every night so I can’t comment on the evening entertainment although other holiday makers said it was grim! I can however reconnect seeing Elvis at the Ark bar in a Wednesday at 9:30pm….brilliant show. The paradise bar is also highly recommended, jokers have acts on most nights and have a great selection of drinks! Rooms - rooms appear to be revamped but have a strange electric switch actually in the shower….I'm no electrician but that can’t be right!!! The rooms are tidy and the cleaner came in every day, it’s only somewhere to lay your drunken head. Overall it was a cheep 4 day getaway but the standards have gone down from last year and I paid the same price! If you stay here, be prepared to explore the area and pay for food and drink occasionally…..you’re on your holidays! Yamas!

Firstly I must say we enjoyed our stay here. To the point of extending our week to 10 days. Extending the holiday was a very easy process. The rep can help you with this. And all information relating to jet2 can be found at the entrance. We had a family suit, great room to get! It’s basically two bedrooms with a divider. Very clean and great air conditioning. Cleaning staff were very sweet. . Bar staff good, actually the friendliest staff. Reception staff very helpful. Snacks hmmmmm….. not good. Snacks and food could do with some improvement. Same things every day. And none of it mouth watering. The entertainment, shocking. If I was them I just wouldn’t have it or improve it BIG style. Like everyone says I agree well situated! Right in the heart of everything. This is a laid back hotel for guests. Which we found refreshing. Transfer time 60min but the journey goes quickly. My advice to guests would be take a hair dryer! If you’re a sun worshiper great hotel for tanning . If you’re a foodie, nah. .

Couldn’t really fault it. Lovely rooms and spacious- we had a huge balcony !! Staff all super friendly and welcoming. Always able to get a sun lounger as there was plenty!! Food was lovely, always fresh fruit and veg/salad. Fresh bread and pancakes made in front of you. At evening meal you could get something cooked fresh in front of you, e.g steak. Always a big selection of food . Entertainment was good as it didn’t go on too late and wasn’t on every night so you could have a break. Alcohol, drinks and ice creams served throughout the day at the pool bars- only suggestion I could make is that the pool bar snacks were basically non-existent (just leftovers from lunch). Super close to the beach so not a far walk, and pretty much in the centre of planos.

Never had any problems always brillant and fantastic friendly helpful best service top quality hotel always love staying there third or forth time we have been there never had any problem wouldn't go any where else love it

The Hotel was very clean and rooms serviced every day. Not much storage in the rooms though for a family, literally one wardrobe and two little bedside table drawers. Getting a sun lounger became a nightmare as people would pop down and reserve them early in morn then not turn up to use them until late PM if they came at all. Food was very nice BUT you've no chance of getting in for breakfast if you go after 8.00am so wouldn't go All Inclusive it's just not worth it. No entertainment for the kids. Drinks were pretty poor and if you asked for one at 11.01pm you couldn't have one as All Inc drinks stop being served at 11.00pm. LOVE Tsilivi, Karras Hotel was nice and the Staff were friendly enough but deffo not value for money.

Great hotel has got better over the last few years . Staff are brilliant 👏. House keeping are great rooms are large and modern and spotless . The food is good the breakfasts got a bit boring and the lack of non citrus fruit as we are diabetics . But after explaining situation they were trying to rectify it on a daily basis. Entertainment was a bit lacking. The Irish night was good . But it was on our last night . We had a fantastic holiday would recommend this hotel 5 stars all the way from me

This hotel is in a good location but food as not good it should never be rated a 4 star . Staff are friendly but not enough sun beds so you will not get a lay in on your holiday as people are up at 6 putting towels on bed and then don’t come around the pool until 10/11 and staff don’t do anything about it.

I have to say I have been in far better hotels for a lot less , whilst we were there we reported the fact there was a problem with our shower but no one seemed interested , we took advantage of the a la crate and booked ourselves in never in my life have I been served my main meal whilst still eating my starters think we were holding the staff up as we were in and out with in an hour , the quality of food was far superior in the fish shop across the road , the room was very dated .

Lovely hotel in Tsilivi. Very clean and rooms spacious. Friendly and helpful staff. Only 10 minute walk to beach and next to restaurants and shops. Childrens pool at hotel plus 2 more pools. All kept extremely clean with plenty of sunbeds.

Hotel was clean and tidy as a family of 5 we booked 2 room wife and daughter in 1 and me and my 2 sons in the other our room was tiny and not designed for 3 people where my wife's was twice the size also my daughter returned to her room to find the maid sat on her bed eating the biscuits we had taken with us complained to the hotel and jet 2 holidays still waiting a reply after a year

Food like warm at best. Evening meals so bad we ate out every night. Rooms in desperate need of refurbishment. Sink coming off wall, flush handle hanging off. Rooms smelt musty. 1 star at best. Never again, avoid this dump

Nice hotel, room was very clean and well presented. Pool area clean, staff were friendly but a smile wouldn't go amiss! Restaraunt was clean, staff were pleasant and the food was varied and you could always fine something to eat. Evening entertainment was poor but a good excuse to go into the town as it had some good bars.
