Serenity by Sotiris

First time in Kefalonia and a wonderful short break. Studios had everything you could want. Food and service were excellent, Chris always remembered what guests wanted for breakfast. Small family run place, so friendly. We had a swim up room that was a bonus. Definitely will return and for a longer stay.

Stayed in the studios which were advertised as suitable for self catering. The kitchen was not suitable for any sort of cooking due to only having 2 rings and a fridge freezer which would intermittently freeze everything! Next to no utensils, the ones that were there were old and not fit for purpose. Bathroom would also intermittently not have hot water. Rook wasn't clean, there were dead spiders everywhere! Also no smoke alarm. Bedding was stained and old. The balcony contained what I believe was simply old bar furniture. The 2 stars are purely for the pool areas, they were clean and comfortable and the onsite food was brilliant but the whole stay was let down by the pure rundown and unclean state of the studio.

This is the second time we have stayed at these studios. The room was very clean, bedding spotless and clean towels everyday. The staff here at Sotiris goes out their way to make sure you have the best holiday, they are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. The poolside has been made even better from last year with new, very comfortable sunbeds and umbrella's if you need shade. The food cooked in the studios restaurant was superb, different specials everyday and a good variety of breakfast freshly made that you can choose from. Cannot fault it, we will definitely return to this lovely resort.

Excellent holiday base. Great pools and sun beds. Decent restaurant, good hosts. The area is quiet despite the airplanes. Good tavernas. Near by. Would recommend a car to view the island. We liked Assos and the bee experience.

Had a 14 day holiday at Sotiris Studios recently. Very friendly staff good food. Room cleaned every day fairly basic accommodation but perfectly acceptable. We are definitely going back next year. Recommended fairly quiet car hire suggested if you want to explore the island

sotiris, friendly staff, tucked out of the way, rooms are in real need of an update, shower cubicles not curtains from the early eighties should be the norm, spotlessly clean, sheets towels changed all the time. do not be put off by the close proximity to the airport, it is not an issue.. i have been coming to greece since 1986 continuously to the present date missing only 4 years in that time.

Lovely resort family run apartments staff were excellent extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Food excellent great staff. A very nice experience. Resort beach very nice sandy sea lovely no rocks or stones just flat sand very safe for kids too with a small bar on beach which served good basic food. Sun beds and umbrella good value at 7Euros too not silly money.

Just returned from Sotiris studios after a weeks stay . I booked a one bedroomed apartment because we like a little more room. The apartment overlooked the pool and had a large balcony with good furniture . The living room had two single beds instead of a sofa but this wasn’t a problem because we sat on the balcony anyway . Kitchen area was basic but had large fridge and a kettle and various pots and pans and was adequate .bathroom was large with good shower . Pool area was fabulous with good comfy sun beds and a great pool bar . We had various meals in the restaurant which were all very good . The staff were all very friendly and worked tirelessly to keep the hotel and grounds spotless. All in all a wonderful holiday .

These studios have a perfect location, very close to the airport but there is very little noise from the planes, and offer comfortable, if somewhat basic facilities. Any shortcomings is the studios are more than made up for by the fantastic staff every one of whom ‘goes the extra mile’ to make their visitors feel welcome and valued. The on-site restaurant and bar offers good quality, reasonably prices, varied food & drink and there is even a small shop for essentials.

This was our third visit to Sotiris Studios after a break of eight years. It was like returning home as we were welcomed by Maria and her family like long lost relatives. The accommodation (we had a first floor apartment) is typically Greek, clean, comfortable and uncomplicated. The pool area is clean and there are plenty of loungers though some people rushed to save theirs early in the morning. The food available on site from an extensive menu is all home-cooked and delicious - couldn't fault it. Nothing was too much trouble and, in fact, George saved us some of the daily special when we were late back one evening. There are plenty of other places to eat within walking distance and all offer excellent quality food at reasonable prices with friendly service. The area around the Studios is largely unchanged since we were there eight years ago and I would describe it as authentic Greek. It's certainly not a built up resort. It's just so relaxing. We were struggling to find a hire car having not booked one prior to arriving. We mentioned this to Tony and he phoned a contact. They offered us two options; both very reasonable prices and the car was there the following day. He couldn't have been more helpful. And, finally, there's George who worked in the bar, the restaurant and everywhere else. His cheerful banter was excellent. It was a pleasure, George. Like many of our fellow holidaymakers, we would return again. Definitely

We had a great week here the children didn't want to leave. The accommodation was basic but all we needed. We had a lovely view of the pool with the sea in the background. If you like Greek food I would recommend half board if available as it is considered the best in the area. The nearby beech is lovely - although the airplane pass right over head when landing which is quite an experience. You really need a car to see the island as there is no public transport and taxis are horrendously expensive. Get up to St Georges Castle if you can- the view is amazing.
