Anna Hotel

Hotel was amazing!! Family run hotel, and all staff are helpful and very inviting- lots of fun and Ouzo if you go to the evening entertainment! Only criticism is the overall location, unless you want to stay at the hotel for your whole visit there is not an awful lot to do around the area unfortunately.

An excellent family hotel set in the bustling heart of central Pefkohori. We were greeted with friendly and informative staff whom carried our bags up several flights of stairs to our room with any amazing pool view. The rooms were clean, however, the bed mattresses were of very poor quality in terms of firmness. My wife suffered with a bad back for weeks afterwards. The location of the hotel was great for venturing out and very close to the beach, hence we felt it best to have the half board option as it made our food choice more flexible. The hotels own food options for breakfast and dinner were plentiful with lots of local Greek delicacies to choose from, all prepared to a high standard. The buffets were not like some Mediterranean buffet all inclusive with their poor attempts at a Chinese night etc. The pool area was clean but was certainly not for couples wanting a quiet holiday, this is definitely a family resort. I would highly recommend it for families and hope to return to the area again someday.

The hotel was fantastic not just for family's but for couples without children, the choice of food everyday was exceptional and there was always a personal touch from all members of staff, from George around the pools looking after everybody's drinks order's too brikena in the restaurant at meal times, you cannot fault them. The animation team were brilliant throughout the day every day and night. All 5 of our family loved our stay at the Anna hotel and would definitely book to go there again.

Spent 11 nights here in July. Couldn’t fault the hotel, staff were lovely, helpful and hardworking. Food at the hotel was delicious. Drinks were a little expensive but the cocktails were fab so worth the extra. Only bad thing is location really, in peak season with it being so hot, the hill or should I say steep mountain is off putting to get to and from the beach/town centre. You can get taxis but expensive for a journey up and down the hill.

We stayed at Anna Hotel for 2 weeks in July and had a fabulous time. Myself my husband and our two teenage daughters (14 & 19yrs). We found the hotel to be well run, clean and very friendly, we thought that there may be a lot of younger families but there was a good mix of all ages and quite a few families with teenagers which was great for us. My husband was roped into some bar games with the animation team on our first night, which the girls found hilarious and that was the icebreaker as we were made to feel really welcome by both the staff and other holiday makers. Our daughters loved it, the pool was great they joined in with the pool games and we found that we hardly left the hotel which is unusual for us. The animation team were great and it didn't feel intrusive you could join in or not, we joined in most nights again unusual for us but I think this was because Anna isn't a massive hotel it didn't feel crowded or intimidating the entertainment was mainly in the bar area and was only for an hour or so then we just tended to stay for drinks and chatted with everyone (or played cards). The staff in general couldn't do enough to help. Overall we can't fault it, it was the last year with our eldest daughter but our 14yr old wants to return next year. Thank you to everyone at Anna Hotel for making our holiday so memorable.

If we return to Halkidiki will definitely stay at the Anna hotel, Pedro, animation team and all staff very friendly and welcoming. Only tip I would give, would be book private transfers to and from airport, apart from the transfers which took 3hours each way, we had a totally relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Well worth a visit

I Stayed for 7 nights at the Anna Hotel and we will be going back. The Hotel has great rooms with air con and has a great Pool and bar. The Buffet always has something different on all the staff are very friendly. My partner was ill whilst on holiday and the owners Petros and Anna and the staff went above and beyond to look after her. This is a great place in which everyone can enjoy

Anna is very nice hotel went half board and was disappointed the buffet style meals But we normally go self catering or b&b so eating out was always option we would haven't picked Nice that owners kept some food for late arrivals The poolarea Tec was very good b

Couldn't ask for anything better.. as soon as we arrived we was greeted by anna who was wonderful and always had a smile on her face every morning. Pedro's he made everyone laugh and cheered people up

We had an amazing holiday, the Anna Hotel has very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms were very clean and as described on Internet. Maid service daily with sheets and towels changed every 3 days. The pool is amazing, very large so never felt cramped. Beach is a 5 minute walk, beautiful and great fun (completely shingle, so needed shoes for our children), sandy beaches are about 5km away. Very Greek location which was a pleasant change from the usual English breakfasts and sunday lunches you normally get in resorts. Buses easy to use to visit other areas. Food in the hotel was always nice, maybe a little repetitive however I understand the hotel are making improvements later this year, there are also plenty of very nice local restaurants. Only comment I would have is the children's pool with a park in it is at front of hotel and not the back where the main pool and sun loungers are. It was still good fun and the main pool is shallow in areas for children, I only make this comment as I thought from pictures the pools were all together. Also added bonus of free WiFi and aircon which we have always had to pay for in the past

The friendliness & atmosphere make up for the fact this is only a 3 star hotel. The pool areas are really nice, great for children & sunbathing. The childrens pool/water playground is very good but there's no space for sunbathing around it & no shade. Drinks & snacks are a reasonable price. The owner gives free shots through the evening & the Greek night & karaoke were a laugh. The included food was only ok (not a lot of choice for children) but it is really cheap to eat out & there are lots of restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. The bed was a bit lumpy but there is plenty of storage space & our shower was lovely. (Garden room) It's worth hiring a car to visit different beaches & villages. There is basically one road that goes around the island so it's very easy to find places. The beach at Chrousou is sandy & gradually slopped so great for children. One of the bars (cream coloured umbrellas etc) is expensive & more for young people/couples. Watersports are the same price all over the island. Hanioti is best of an evening when the fountains are on & lit up. Loads of shops, restaurants etc. The Thermal Spa Agia Paraskevi is worth a visit at 10 euros each. Aelia beach lounge,Nea Skioni is beautiful with fantastic food. Waterland & zoo at Thessaloniki is great, plenty of shade & sunbeds. Good priced food & drinks, clean changing rooms & toilets.

The hotel itself is very modern and is always kept clean and tidy, in communal areas and the rooms too. The location of the hotel is very good, near shops and the Main Street but not too close or noisy 5minutes walk from shops, 10minutes walk to the beach front and shops. The food in the hotel is lovely and has a nice variety and changes every day, we had a few meals out which were lovely too. The pool is much better than it looks on the photos! It’s huge with bridges and a waterfall and two different sections to it, it’s lit up at night and looks amazing from all the room balconies!! The staff are all amazing! Pedro and Anna are very welcoming and friendly! Pedro was very friendly as soon as we arrived, and you get to know he’s a bit crazy but is always having nice friendly banter with all of the guests which really makes you feel comfortable all throughout your stay. Would just say that the staff here really made our holiday 10X better as the nightlife in the centre of Pefkohori is limited and so being able to have jokes and get along well with them was amazing! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitley think about coming back soon as it just really was so friendly!
