Kriopigi Hotel

This hotel was brilliant and exceptional value for money! It was very clean & tidy. Rooms were lovely & serviced daily. Great little hairdryer and kettle. Fab remote controlled air conditioning. Nothing was too much trouble for the hotel staff. Good shuttle bus service to a beautiful beach which has a nice cafe. Pool bar staff were wonderful as was the lifeguard. Entertainment most evenings. A few super local shops & bars where cash buys you more than cards! Visited the spa which again was brilliant. Hotel cats very friendly! Thank you Hotel Kriopigi! Highly recommended!

As soon as we arrived the blonde lady at reception was miserable and not welcoming at all. After travelling all day she struggled to check everyone in efficiently and we didn’t reach our room until after midnight. Upon entering the double premium room we paid for, we had two twin beds pushed together and a shower that soaked the whole bathroom each time it was turned on. The room was said to be cleaned every three days, however it wasn’t cleaned once during the week that we stayed there. When housekeeping came to make the bed they took our towels leaving us with nothing to shower with. We asked for more towels at reception and were told to wait and they would be brought to us, after waiting an hour we were told to walk back up to reception to collect them or wait another half an hour. The restaurant didn’t have enough seating for the amount of guests that had booked to stay. We paid for all inclusive and ended up eating out most nights as every day the food was sloppy, salty, and super oily. There was no fresh fruit and no fresh juices as advertised. They didn’t have much choice of foods even though it is advertised as a Greek cuisine all inclusive buffet. The water wasn’t bottled it came from the pump and you wasn’t allowed to take it in cups back to your room. The hotel thought it was acceptable to use stale croissants left over from breakfast in a plastic box as ‘pool snacks’. The pool opens at 10am and closes at 6pm which was extremely early, considering the heat. Twice in three days somebody had pooed in the pool meaning it was out of bounds for a couple of hours, the lifeguard was sadly given no authority to ban the parents from letting their child not wear a nappy in the pool, hence why it happened multiple times. Upon leaving, checkout was at 11am and our transfer wasn’t until 6pm so we used the pool facilities during the day, after going to reception to ask for a shower before our transfer came we weren’t informed you needed to book a slot. They had one shower for everyone to use which was a room that was apparently soaked by the time the last person had used it. When we said we needed to shower the man at reception was extremely rude, I asked if we could use the spa showers and he informed us there wasn’t any in there, even though we had seen them. Their answer to us was to shower Infront of everyone at the outside pool showers, after complaining to the hotel manager he began raising his voice at us when we’re explained our complaints but finally gave us a room as an ‘exception’. The beach is not as advertised it is full of stones and the last transfer was at 5 meaning you had to walk back after. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS HOTEL!!!!!!

In general, the hotel was as expected.Big comfortable beds, air con included, TV with BBC news.The dining room has a big problem with keeping the food warm; if you like hot food then this is not the place for you.The breakfasts were ok except for the toaster which was useless (buy another one). but dinner was awful; they served sprouts on a regular basis as well as carrots and cauliflower. One way or another, the food was tasteless; I cannot recommend it.However, the local tavernas were excellent.

Would give this hotel a lower rating if possible, do not book to go here!!! Standard in hotel is not 4 star more like 2 star. The food was frozen and reheated to a look warm temperature. Bottles of water not included within all inclusive package, you are given water from bottles which are refilled from the rap and are not sterilized before hand. Rooms are not what are shown on the website, no tea coffee facilities in room, beware bar closes at midnight and you can't get anything to drink until after 7.30am when restaurant reopens. But you are not allowed tonrske any drinks back to your room.Hotel is not safe for anyone. Please spend you money and go elsewhere. Hotel will put on a response to say you should have spoken to them while you were at hotel, well we did!!Managers responce: chef getting fired at end of season, food is bought in frozen, getting tea/coffee facilities in room next year! This is not helpful to someone staying in this hotel this year!!Do not stay here if you have motability problems. Hotel has stairs to everywhere, also built in hill so if you don't take the stairs you need to walk up a steep incline.

Just come back from 14 night stay with 4 children - travelled with Jet2cim - excellent hotel - friendly staff and lovely food - hotel small which we liked - entertainment was limited however lots of lovely families there so had many an enjoyable evening - mini club very accommodating in trying to provide activities that the children enjoyed
