Lofos Apartments

We recently came back from 2 weeks at the beginning of August. I had some nerves as this is the first time we have been abroad to this type of holiday with our son - I needn't have been. Jet 2 were great and looked after us all the way- we were even delayed on the tarmac on the way out but they made it fun with visits for the kids to the cockpit. When we arrived at lofos, Maria and the team made us very welcome, they helped with our bags and had kept the food going for us to have a bite to eat - which was very much needed by then! The apartment was spotless and a great base - I particularly like the wet room bathroom and the patio with sea views. The pool was also spotless. There was always a happy friendly vibe about the place with the staff knowing our names and chatting, they were also happy to make recommendations of good places to visit. The greek night was good fun and the food excellent. Breakfasts were nice - the grilled tomatoes delicious. We have lots of very fond memories - thank you. I would not hesitate to recommend both Lofos and jet2.

We've had an amazing holiday this year, the best one yet. I was a little apprehensive about going self catering with two very young children but it's definitely the way forward. We have been able to relax this year without having to meet deadlines for food as you do with all inclusive. The pool was amazing and my two children learnt how to swim in 10 days! The staff were all so friendly and my daughter took a special liking to 'her friend with the long legs' Myron I think his name was. The food was amazing and my fave dish to have was a Pitta Gyros, yum! Washed down with a wonderfully made Tequila Sunrise. The staff were able to sort us out car hire for the day and it was delivered to the accommodation the very next day. Great holiday and we hope to visit this beautiful country again.

Got back yesterday from Crete I can't speak highly enough of the family run apartments they meet and greet you personally as soon as you get off the coach and nothing is too much trouble as I found out when I had a slight problem with my room which was swiftly resolved with the minimum of fuss it's very quiet even though the bars open till 2am you never here any noise from the above rooms cannot fault this place and will definitely visit again at some point.👍

We had an excellent holiday at Lofos Apartments. Be aware it it half way up a steep road so not suitable for those who aren't very mobile. Go up the hill into the village of Piskopiano. The food is excellent and very reasonable. The staff really try to please and the apartments were faultless really. You are quite away from a sandy beach but we got on the local green buses and explored.

Brilliant wee hotel and so friendly, no issues with sun beds, pool area just a nice size and always kept clean. Rooms are kept clean and regular bed changes, only down side is storage space, not enough drawers and wardrobe space especially if there's 4 in the room, wouldn't put us off going back though. Pleasant walk down into Hersonisoss but defo need a taxi back up, steep hill and heat are not a good mixture. Would definitely return here if holidaying in Crete.

From the moment of arrival, ALL members of staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful and happy to 'go the extra mile' to ensure we had an enjoyable experience. We are looking forward to returning in the future.
