Sandy Beach Resort

Food horrid, rude and unprofessional front desk staff, rooms had fleas, the whole place is covered in wasps, do not come here fir family trip, things went missing money went missing, unhelpful staff and alot of older guests gave funny looks to alot of families that were guests too. Just absolutely disappointed with the holiday

We booked Labranda as have been on several family all inclusives with some variations. We were pleasantly surprised by the place. It is a long transfer so get a private one if you can, mainly due to the very small narrow roads, but the resort is lovely, if you dont mind a big resort with a very international mix of guests, which i found all very pleasant. The pros in this were that you do not have to get up and reserve a sun bed as there are lots of pools and so lots of sun beds. Unless you wanted the beach...we never did. The pool with the slides is crazy but great and the lifeguards really watch the younger children to check they have a adult at the bottom waiting for them. Food is great and a good variety in the restaurants although this was our only complaint that the air conditioning in the restaurant is inadequate and so it is hot when eating at all times of the day. A great family holiday in all with a 4 and a 6 year old, if you want a local town nearby though it is quite isolated but great to get away from things!

It is a great family hotel, great facilities, good location near the beach. Great for teenagers/ young adults as lots of water sports and a strip of good bars close by the hotel. Three pools, good 4 star food great selection.

The resort is starting to show it's age. The staff over all did what they had to do, not much more. Very few smiles and you felt you were just another person to get out of the way. The Beach was perfect, and the resort was in the perfect place to tour the island, see the sights. But we expected 4 Star and got 2/3 at best.

Appalling hotel! broken door locks on every toilet around the complex. Filthy room, with no working TV and damp moldy toilet roll holding the window in the bathroom in place. Children's entertainment was for 20 minutes every evening (The same every night). The resort is not near anywhere so booking trips is a must, however they only had 3 trips to go on. Food was ok with plenty of choice.

This was our 2nd time here, it's such a beautiful place, all staff are friendly and helpful, on this trip there was a full entertainment programme and the animation team were amazing and all worked so hard. We will definitely return again at some point and would definitely recommend

This resort is very nice for a relaxing break. I wouldnt recommend staying for longer than a week as itd become boring. We visited the end of september and the weather was still around 27-30 degrees. This hotel is directly on the beach so although it may be hot in the daytime, a jacket is necessary for evenings as it gets very cold. The hotel is close to local shops/restaurants however these are very limited and location isnt that great. There arent many options if you want to do trips/excursions too.Pros - Nice resort, very clean, range of different restaurants, on the beach, close to local shops. Rooms are spacious and large and all have a balcony overlooking the pools or gardens.Cons - This resort is riddled with wasps... you are unable to eat / drink outside or relax. The rooms are full with tiny ants. The hot water supply in the bathroom works intermittently. In the mornings the water was burning, by about 6pm the water was cool. Food was ok but restaurants repeat food alot and not much options if you are veggie/nut allergen/dont eat pork.

Very good for the family, great food, swimming pools, perfect weather very close to the beach you can rent bikes quads very cheap. I recommend buy a trip for the Pakox and Antipaxos one day out but you will never forget amazing view.

Hotel very big which means at meal times very busy, sometimes searching for a table.lots of wasps about very annoying.food ok plenty of choice.entertainment rubbish for a big hotel they should be paying for good acts.sunbeds vvery uncomfortable need new ones.bed matressses very hard also need replacing.electric bikes good for kids and water sports.terrible sewage smell of an evening.arcade and shops good.overall about a 3 star.not alot to do outside hotel catch the green bus to Corfu every day down by the beach.pools great see loose tiles my son cut his foot

Hotel facilities food and beach were excellent with friendly and helpful staff . The bedding could do with being replaced along with the poolside loungers and umbrellas Would go back again as the resort was clean and tidy and the beach had a blue flag and was ideal for all holiday makers especially children,the food in the restraunts was excellent loads of choice for all and was also very clean and tidy.

What a shame. With a little tlc this hotel could be really good. On arrival we were given a family room with no view when we had paid for a side sea view room, this was put right the next day. Rooms we saw were good size and very clean but pillows were very lumpy and mattresses very uncomfortable with springs being felt. We had no hot water in the room for most of the week even though we reported it 3 times. Food was varied and plentiful but not very hot (to be expected with buffet meals). Drinks are fine but cocktails a little weak. Staff helpful and friendly. Swimming pools lovely but surrounding decking needs attention as some of it is uneven and broken. There are some very unpleasant smells as you walk around the complex. The hotel is in a lovely location being next to a sandy beach with very safe water and a short walk from a lovely lagoon.

We arrived in the early hours of 4 july our first room was 513 it was dirty, there were bugs under the bed,i complained and we were moved on the evening of the 5 july. The new room 313 was also dirty, there were electrical sockets hanging out of the wall, light fittings in all rooms were hanging loose, the hair dyer when switched on belched black smoke and died the shower was corroded and did not function properly., and it was adjacent to a toilet block which you could smell .On complaing I was told and electrician and a plumber would attend this was reported within 10 minutes on arriving in the room at 1800. At 2130 the electrician attended fix the major problems. We never saw a plumber.After numerous complaints to reception and JET2 we were final put into some decent accommodation for the remaining 2 nights of our holiday. Our Grand children were told not to go into the family pool before 10 am . The all inclusive was not !!! if you wanted bar snacks or named ice creams you were expected to pay. If you went to the Beach you had to pay for sunbeds and umbrella's . To get a sunbed around the pool area s was a lottery as there were not enough to go round . The staff were friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant was good and plentiful , but the accommodation was awful, during our stay we were aware and spoke to 8 other families who were suffering similar problems.
