Valentinos Apartments

Valentinos apartments are very clean and spacious, comfortable bed, shower works well . Excellent location, very close to the sea and restaurants shops.

Basic apartment. Great as a base to explore Roda. The apartment was cleaned and towels changed regularly. The staff were good. Shops are nearby and so are the tavenas. The equipment in the apartment could do with an update though.

We found the apartments (B) block very run down. The kitchen cupboard under the sink had a bad smell. The oven and bread bin needed a good clean. All kitchen needed replacing. Toilet had been repaired with cement that it looked like a meringue. The socket in the bathroom was broken, bits missing. The wardrobe had seen better days, it looked like someone had put their fist through it. Our clothes were damp for the two weeks we stayed. Towels changed after 5 days, when we complained to the rep Richard. We wrote a report and he said it would be sent to Jet 2 Holidays and we would have a reply when we got home. Having paid over £600 each we feel that it was over priced more like a backpackers place to stay.

Arrival was to a noticeboard, no staff on site or reception area, you locate your name and room number and key left in door. The bar owner (Spiros) is a decent, basic help if you have questions and can contact the manager if need be. No air conditioning access on arrival as remote is supplied by the manager at 5 euros per day and no safety deposit key (15 euros) - both have to be sought from the elusive manager, not ideal when you arrive close to midnight to a roasting hot room! Apartments are old fashioned, but clean and the cleaners work hard everyday and the general maintenance of the surroundings are good. The beach is 2 minutes away, plenty of bars and restaurants to eat, friendly Roda people and the apartments are a good vicinity location. Very much a 'Shirley Valentine' picture postcard place, quiet, however if you want to chill, eat & drink, sunbathe and go on boat trips, this is ideal!

Enjoyed my stay basic but you get what you pay . Went with family and they all enjoyed pool clean and Spiros was great . Nice and near shops bars going again next year . We stayed in a down stair studio said it was a bit noisy but didn't bother me or my mum who is 83 enjoyed music and laughter.

Weve just got back from valentinos apartments and we had a fantastic holiday the owner was very friendly and SPIROS the bar owner was fantastic and couldnt do enough for everyone,be back next year ane will be for three weeks as two wasnt enough,the apartments have a grate pool and the beach is only a two min walk
