Hotel Lero

We must love the Hotel Lero, as we have had two holidays there in the space of 5 weeks. The hotel is is situated on a main road and is around a 20 minute walk from the old city of Dubrovnik. It is downhill going, but we struggled on occasion to walk back because of the heat so got a taxi. The hotel is modern, the rooms are very comfortable, spacious with excellent wardrobe space. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are very friendly and efficient. We stayed on a B&B basis - the breakfast is buffet style with lots of choice. Breakfasts excellent! The only slight down side is the pool area is quite small and tends to be in the shade depending on the time of day, the pool is lovely, there are not too many sunbeds, but guests do not reserve them, and vacate them when going for lunch etc - very fair. Overall this hotel is wonderful and I highly recommend it. Looking forward to another visit

Excellent location, great accommodation, excellent food, and friendly and efficient staff. Well appointed bedrooms and public rooms. The adjoining Bosnian restaurant is well worth a visit. Convenient and affordable public bus and taxi services to and from the Old City of Dubrovnik.

4 nights in Dubrovnik, stayed at the Hotel Lero. fantastic hotel AND location Rooms were spotless staff very helpful and friendly the service was excellent Food great choice buffet style all you could eat really lovely selection catering for all tastes. would definitely recommend.

Hotel was in the ideal location for visiting Dubrovnik, walking distance to the old town about 20mins. We went in October the weather was still warm just right for wandering round, although it was still hot on the city walls. Rooms didn't have balconies, not a problem for us as it was dark by 7pm. Might not be ideal in the summer if you want to sit out and have a drink. The Lero was perfect for our family for 4 nights, breakfast was the usual mix had something for everyone. Family room was great more like a large 2 bed apartment than a hotel room.

Superb hotel, had a fabulous stay here. We had a beautiful large bedroom. Really good breakfast with plenty of choice of hot and cold food. It is about a 20min walk to the old town downhill which is a very pleasant walk.. We used to get the bus back up the hill rather than walk back. Most of the hotels are a bit of a walk to the old town anyway. The standout at the hotel was definitely the desk staff who could not be more pleasant and helpful. Best we have ever come across, they really went that extra mile to help you.

Hotel was good apart from lacking sufficient seating areas. Pool was mostly in the shade. Ideal location as not far from the old town but close to bars in the other direction. Would be better if the room had a balcony. Only a few rooms did. Staff were nice and food was good.

We had an executive room which was very nice. The only downside of the hotel as far as we were concerned was the size of the swimming pool. It was far too small for the hotel. There were not enough sunbeds and people were reserving beds right under the staff's noses and they were not getting told they couldn't do this even though there were signs around stating this.

Clean, pleasant hotel . Good breakfast. Staff bit grumpy in restaurant. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Not all rooms have sea views which was disappointing, although had big room view was brick wall . About 20 minutes walk downhill to old town but walk back all up hill! There is a bus which frequently runs.

Excellent Hotel great position near old town about a 15 - 20 minutes - walk in and get the bus back - number 4 - up hill :-) well managed and organised good food and accommodation Staff are professional and efficient

Overall we had a good stay at Hotel Lero. The accommodation was fine, apart from the bedroom carpet being a bit grubby, we were glad that we had taken carpet slippers with us. The breakfast is good and plentiful, with a generous time window of 06:30 - 10:30

The hotel was well situated,@ 30 minutes easy walk,or a 10 minute trip on a frequent bus service to the old town.Hotel staff without exception were helpful & polite,nothing was too much trouble.There was no entertainment in the hotel,but there was a comfortable & pleasant bar.The rooms,the food,and indeed,all the usual facilities were very good.
